Will anybody do all the romances in the game? After my Qunari PT; I'm thinking of going a human (I know ugh) but I will make a Dragon Age version of Obreyn Martell But should he romance Josephine or Dorian?

 

I only play female characters - so no Cassy for me

 

I'm planning to check Cullen in my second PT - I'm going to play sword-and-shield human warrioress and fully embrace templar love.

 

In future I might try a Goat-Woman to romance Iron Bull.

 

I won't romance Josie and Sera cause I just don't feel them. As for Solas - maybe as an elf mage, but he's "meh".

Oh I will definitely play through all the romances...eventually. Running multiple saves helps. I was going to do them all with like three characters but now I've gotten way too attached to Hella/Blackwall to ever put her with someone else...and I feel like most of my characters will hit the same issue. That's okay! More PTs for me!

My Cadash I'm running now seems perfect for Cass or Dorian, sooooo we will see what happens. I'm more inclined to run Dorian, but I watched a friend play a lot of that romance so I might try for Cass. Or not. I love Dorian a LOT and I think his dynamic with Cadash is very fun.

I won't do all of the romances.  I just have a hard time getting through playthroughs if I can't connect with the PC and in games where I can be a gay man, I struggle playing anything else.  I'll do a single female playthrough (with a dwarf, natch), but beyond that, it will pretty much just be alternating between Dorian (primarily) and Bull (occasionally) for me.

 

So, given that my preferred PC is a male, gay, and a dwarf or qunari, I can pretty much rule out Cullen and Solas 100%.  I, literally, don't click a single one of their requirement boxes.  I can also pretty much guarantee ruling out Cass since I don't think I've ever rolled a straight male in a Bioware game (even my Shep was gay in ME and ME2, he just didn't have a romance to 'be gay' with). 

 

So it all rests on Agathe's solid dwarfy shoulders to determine which of the remaining three romances I get to see:  Josephine, Sera, or Blackwall.  I'm leaning towards Blackwall at this point, but Sera might just win her over.  All in all, I'll likely only "do" the romances for Dorian (done and amazing), Bull (happening soon), and either Sera or Blackwall (tbd).  The rest will be youtube views and living vicariously through you all.

I can understand that. I have had a really hard time playing a male PC when a female is an option just because there have been so many games where that wasn't an option at all or it was a stereotyped option actually designed for men when it was. My preference for romances is female PC to male, but more important to me is what kind of relationship it is (and unfortunately for me, IB and Blackwall both hit on the wrong side of that, even though I like both of them a lot as characters). So I'm willing to give up dwarf or qunari to play human and Dalish for the Cullen and Solas romances since they hit the other areas (well, Solas is a problem too, but I'm intrigued enough to look past it). Ironically, even the SS romances available to a female dwarf or qunari don't interest me as strongly as the Dorian and Cass ones do this time.

If you do know, please share so I can hunt it down. Here's the information on the Legion of the Dead armor (where to find it, what it looks like, etc). I'd love to see this armor on a dwarf male, too, so share screenshots if you've got your hands on it.

I've been trying to search for this as well. I've found there is a level 8 medium armor called "Carta Coat" (dwarf-only) that is in a chest in Hinterlands. I remember seeing it and tossing it at Varric because I couldn't use it. I don't know what it looks like on someone Not-Varric. This video shows where to find it:

I know it's not the same as crafting with your own medium-armor schematic. However I DID see this comment on a different thread so maybe you can still make Legion of the Dead armor for rogues:
 

Removing class requirements you say? Could you explain a little bit more, if you don't mind?

I'll try my best. There's a resource, called Silverite, that you can acquire either through one of Josephine's inquisition perks (the one that gives resources) or by finding it in the world (Emprise du Lion, so I've been told). Once you find Silverite, you can use it as the primary metal in an armor to remove the class requirement. Then you can equip said armor on any class, though I think race restrictions still apply.

 

 

I don't have any silverite atm so I can't verify this. (Have not unlocked Emprise du Lion yet.)

Oh, man, now that's what I've been talking about for Zhenya! Definitely makes her look like she has the muscle to swing that maul!

I like Dwarfs. I'm sad that there aren't great beard options (like it or not, the big bearded male dwarf is what almost everyone thinks a fantasy Dwarf is). If I did a Dwarf, I might try the hairless (Or very lowcut/stubble) battle worn look, a face similar to Kingslayer from Witcher 2.

Sad thing is my two characters this far are a female Elf Warrior and a Male Human mage. If I did a third, I'd do a rogue but Dual Wielding is inferior in this game and Varric makes a ranged rogue very superfluous (I'm a Varric fan, best bro in Thedas).

Lol just as this was posted, I finished my new dwarf with the british accent(He's under my last spoiler post). I find the american accent dry, and the british one seem to express himself more. Lol I'm not use to doing this in Dragon Age. I only have problems with creating the right look in MMOs. How I miss you Black Emporium dlc!

I actually don't know if I'll get around to all the romances even though I'm saying I will, because my male characters all keep gravitating towards Dorian (have I mentioned how much I love Dorian today? I should! I love him so much! Even my female characters all want to be his bestie) and the fact that my lady characters can't romance Cass sours her on me even though I adore her so much. (I know, I know, I just can't get over it) 

 

But I will definitely do Solas and Sera at some point. Maybe Bull and Josie will end up the YouTube ones for me, although I'd be really sad to leave one of the f/f romances never touched.

Lol just as this was posted, I finished my new dwarf with the british accent(He's under my last spoiler post). I find the american accent dry, and the british one seem to express himself more. Lol I'm not use to doing this in Dragon Age. I only have problems with creating the right look in MMOs. How I miss you Black Emporium dlc!
