Except vorcha since I refuse to play them.
Why? Racism? Don't like subnet? Vorcha are fun.
Adept - Vanilla Human Adept. Asari Adept and Huntress are ok too but Vanilla Human Adept is my preference.
Soldier - Geth Trooper.
Engineer - Vanilla Human Engineer: the best engineer in the whole room for me.
Infiltrator - Salarian, Ghost, and AIU.
Vanguard - I don't play Vanguard on gold because lollag but if you put a gun in my head then it would be Asari Vanguard or Slayer.
Krogan anything
I really like the Talon Engineer when I can play him right. Arcing shots around corners, wiping out spawns from halfway across the map, and not being aware that a phantom is backing up on you until your cains blow it to smithereens...all fun stuff.
Incredibly irritating versus Cerberus though.
Any class that I can't play for jack on platinum. Or classes that needs work. As for specific classes the Asari Adept i use the most on gold.
Favorite gold class?
None. Gold too easy
Depends on your class and build. Care to try playing a melee quarian female engineer on platinum?None. Gold too easy
There isn't really one, but somehow - it always brings a faint smile on my face and I feel like a little boy again when I pick the Bad Blue Mommy.
I kinda use whatever I feel like using nowadays. No preference, really. Anything with Arc Pistol will ensure over-KILL!!!
Female Geth Vanguard
Krogan Sentinel..

I agree with phantom part, it's satisfying and fairly effective.
However, how do you guys work around corners, with that auto-lock and all?
OT: I've took to playing paladin recently, was waiting for this guy to drop for me for quite some time. Not everything went smooth at first (can't into shield stance effectively, although in theory it should be a decent portable cover against many enemies when you don't have natural one to wait out CDs).
Before I was playing a lot of HM-less flamer GT with Acolyte (cult classics, heh) and, for some reason, destroyer. Sniper destroyer mostly, although it's probably not the best thing to do, but I lack some things to make it proper fluffy heavy weapon guy destroyer. Tried to replace it with weapon Cabal (Saber, PS for mobility, full-weapon passives), hoping for it to become similar thing, but with better mobility, but I need to make some habits (and FFS, more than blade, scope and stabilizer for ARs, RNG pls).
Well, that's it so far.
Devil's Avenger.

The Talon Merc's heavy melee locks and tracks, like the Batarian Brofist, so if you lock onto an enemy and they then try to walk round a courner, the arrows follow them. Like Atlas and GRT rockets, and Scion shots. "Thought you were safe, biatch? Ha!"

It's... glourious.
When I'm in the right mood, I enjoy a good round of Kroguard headbutting with the Holy Graal.
I've still got training wheels on for Gold, but these are my favourite kits:
Kroguard vs Geff
Flamer GT without HM vs Derperus/Rippas
Asari Valkyrie vs Derperus/Geff/Rippas
Honourable mentions: Human Sentinel vs Derperus/Rippas, Human Engineer vs Geff/Rippas
Basically any kit I've taken to Gold that didn't result in an absolute bloodbath. Why are there no kits for Trollectors? I'm not that much of a masochist.
