It's obvious how the game will work on pc, and there's already been an official response on how disc swapping will work on regular 360 playthroughs(disc 1 for the beginning, disc 2 for the middle, then disc 1 again for the end). However, I haven't seen any response on how disc swapping will work when the game is installed to the 360's hdd. Given that after a game is installed, having the disc in the drive is only required for anti-piracy/theft purposes, you shouldn't need to swap discs at all(as Bioware said the multiple disc swaps were needed for gameplay purposes and had nothing to do with piracy). But there's been no details about this at all as far as I know.

Yes, you still make disc swaps. It will decrease loading times if you install to HDD. And like you said, it's for security reasons. It's not a big deal anyways.

I think you meant to say it will DECREASE load times if you install it to your HDD.

But yeah, if you install it, you will still have to swap out the discs, and its not a big deal since you have to have the disc in the tray anyway if you have it installed.

Umm, installing the game to the HDD just makes for a smoother game. Doesn't really save the game to the hard drive. Trust me, I just deleted ME 1 from my HDD to make room to save ME2 on my 120 GB HDD. Hells yea I got an Elite!!!

One of the devs said on the old board that the game had been optimised to run from the disks so installing to the HDD won't make alot of difference to load times.

I know but that is what it's meant to do. I'm doing it anyway.

Even if you install it you'll definitely have to switch discs where appropriate. Otherwise you could technically duplicate the game by installing the game on two xboxs and both people using one disc
