Human features but with a very thin face and a slightly large nose.

Her face obviously has human features, I just think that she'll be purple and maybe have some distinctive facial markings.

She'll look almost exactly like a human, with predictably purple or blue skin and maybe no ears or something to make her look alien. This is a bioware alien we're talking about you should know what to expect

I think quarians will look somewhat like the grays/hybrids that were popular in the ufo conspiracy crap from the 80s and 90s. Probably an extremely smooth, pale complexion with greyish skin tone. Eyes will be a solid color. Probably going to have a very small mouth, nose, etc.

Theres a video of what tali looks like in me1 if you managed to glitch the camera so that you can see under her mask. It's clearly just placeholder textures, She looks grey and featureless. But I dont think actual quarian appearance will be much different from that.

Maybe the model and textures will be changed a little to make them a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Either way, even though tali is romanceable, i dont think you actually get to see her face.

I think ME3 will make a big deal about showing their true appearance. At least I hope so. Hopefully they'll look alien, but very attractive and majestic. It would be cool if this race of concealed people were actually a really beautiful species.

I think Pink's post is headed in the right direction, however I do not think they would resemble the Grays, at least not with the Ovoid heads and Shark like Black eyes. In point of fact, if you look at things from a Scientific perspective, as Bioware is want to do (however slightly) it is more likely their appearence is closer to the following:

-Pale skin due to lack of exposure to Ultra-Violet Light. If you recall from several Codexes Aliens such as the Turians come from Planets whose Solar Spectrums required their skin to adapt defensively. Ergo, because the Solar radiation of their Sun was high the Turian skin remained hard (non-armor) and Scale-like to protect the more sensitive tissue beneath. Given that the Quarians have been forced to utilize enviornment suits, though not for all of their 300 year migration, thier Skin has likely lowered in Pigmintation, though not full out Albino in appearence, their skin would likely be slighty pale to slate color at the darkest. Most assume they have a purple skin tone, but recent developments have shown that the Purple in question is just the color of Tali's Vizor.

-Eyes of a extremely light Blue or other reflective color. Most assume because Tali's eyes seem to shine that they are all one color. That is an easy mistake. I am sure some people have seen the result of shining a light into the eyes of Cats or other creatures with inherent night vision. In said light, it can often seem as if the animal suddenly has one bright eye color, but we know that to not be the case. With Tali and the Quarians it is likely that thier species once possesed partial Night vision akin to the aforementioned Cats or even some Avian creatures. The Devs once pointed out that Tali had 'chicken feet' and it's possible that the Quarians are evolved from a bird like ancestor (That does not mean a Beak) who, like say Owls, have very excellent Night Vision. Again, the 'Shine' of her eyes is likely the reflection of the LEDs and other Heads Up Displays shown in the faceplate of her Visor from her side, or even simple internal lighting built into the mask. Much like the Skin observation, lack of direct Solar light and radiation have likely left the Quarians with very lightly colored eyes.

-Nose and associated facial structure. Thanks to the partial transparency of Tali's Visor we know she posseses a somewhat normal (by Human standards) nose. We are unaware of whether said nose is composed of cartilage or another substance, but it's appearence is fairly standard and it seems to have even been reduced in size somwhat from it's ME1 appearence. As to Tali's facial bone structure (i.e. Jawline, etc) paying close attention to the overall design of her Helmet, one can assume her face shape to be fairly normal, again by human standards. It is obvious it is not overly large (like the aforementioned grays) or abnormaly small. This, I think, is the most difficult assumption to peg down.

-Hair. This should be rather simple. Much like the Quarian's skin, lack of exposure to consistent amounts of Solar spectrum radiation has likely left Quarians with hair devoid of any dark pigmentation, i.e. Very Blond to White. I have seem some Fan illustrations dipicting Tali with very dark to even raven colored hair. Sadly, I doubt that to be the case. Still, nothing is impossible.

Overall, I think it is safe to assume that regardless of the Details, Tali is in fact really quite beautiful. Some of us know exactly the reason for that assumption, but I will not go into details for fear of 'Evil' Chris's reaction. Yes, I do fear him. Regardless, it would be a safe bet that we will eventually see Tali's face. Though, there is the distinct chance Bioware will maintain thier respective 'Master Chief-ness'. We can only wait and see.

Here's how they modelled her face in ME. Whether they just used it as a simple placeholder never to be shown to the world for the "something behind the glass" effect we saw in the game otherwise is open to debate.

Saw it on another forum a few weeks ago, and now it's pretty much what I image Tali to look like.

I picture her pretty similar to this, a bit paler though.

*smack*

Tali is deffinitely mostly human in appearence. She has human-like eyes and nose and probably a mouth and ears as well. Probably even hair.

There's nothing inherently repulsive about her.....her legs and fingers developed differently and has a different eating habits. Nothing wrong with that.

(from the Wiki)
"Quarians have an endoskeleton, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear-ducts. (Ascensionp. 235) Females have mammary glands. Quarians may have evolved along similar lines as Earth's higher primates, much as Australia's koalas developed like Africa's leaf-eating prosimians: a phenomenon called convergent evolution.Like turians, the quarians are a dextro-protein species of reverse chirality from humans and asari. The food of levo-protein races such as humans or asari is at best inedible and at worst poisonous; most likely triggering a dangerous allergic reaction."

So that's a definite 'maybe'
