Who cares with a body like that. That is what paper bags and total darkness are for, turn out the lights and they are ALL beauty queens.

If she is mostly human looking, she'll probably look a lot like this http://ia.media-imdb...X469_SY400_.jpg

Yeah that seems about right. The eye and nose shapes match what we can see through the mask though Tali is likey to have less hair or maybe none at all.

Well, they seem to scan the voice actors for every other human-esque alien character, so I figure they'd scan Miss Sroka.

I'm expecting a bird-like humanoid. For one thing, the ME universe designers went for the typical (I'm not complaining here) idea of basing the aliens off of different earth species. And Tali's two finger hand is similar to the Krogan's two finger hand and we all know birds and reptiles are related. We also know she has eyes and some sort of nose, though that could potentially be a beak as well.

More importantly for this theory, if you look at Tali from the side you see that her legs are not typically humanoid. Instead, her legs below the knee are shifted back from the vertical line of her upper legs. It's birdlike.

That's my theory, anyway.

guys, she's a romance option I HIGHLY doubt she'll be anything than Avarage humanish like Asari. Don't worry guys, Bioware wouldn't **** is that badly. when have they ever had a ugly romance option?

from what i heard from by a friend who saw a clip of the "sex scene" it doesn't show her face, yet Shepard isn't throwing up/putting a bag over her head or anything negative. so it cant be that bad... or shepard has very very low standards XD

You can see enough though her mack to tell her skin is smooth(ie no scales or fearthers or anything crazy) and her nose and eyes are relatively normal with the only exception that her eyes glow a little but still mostly human. Then her entire upper body looks like that of a normal human female....so no I don't reasonably expect any scales or feathers or anything crazy there either.

like this. Plus or minus a shade... Maybe a glow in the eyes that can change depending on mood or something.

so more like this:

I'd be disappointed if she ended up looking TOO human.

She needs to be attractive/cute, but still have a sort of "otherworldliness" to her.

I'd imagine her looking something like the Protoss, without a conventional mouth.

They're just space elves. Personally doesn't matter too much to me, would be good to finally see them without that dang mask or envirosuit in ME3 at least but if Bioware just wants to keep them masked to avoid more modeling work in game then, meh, won't matter much to me.

to make a litlle fun..erm..like a chicken...she has chicken legs why not face...

but seriously..we don't know..but since it says they have human features..Shepard didn't seem to have a problem with tali during their romance scene..it is assumed she is looking good...i guess we will either see in ME3 or continue to speculate forever

I'm assuming direct control that she'll look a lot like Liz Sroka, her VA, but will still look sufficiently alien as to look different, yet still attractive.:innocent:

Since I don't romance Tali, I probably have the benefit of wild interpretation of what she might look like. I don't need her to look in any way physically attractive to me. Wild alien designs is one of the more fun aspects of science fiction for me anyway.

The description from Ascension seems to imply humanoid versus Turian or Krogan. But I'd say Thane could be described in equally vague humanoid terms. The model of the face behind the mask I view as a placeholder, a way to give a silhouette or definition behind the mask versus a blank facade.

The two characteristics that I particularly like about the quarians is their glowing eyes and Grunt's comment that they aren't nearly as squishy as humans, salarians, and asari. As for the eyes, I don't think they glow so much as are bioluminescent. As for Grunt's comment, it either implies thick hide, thick bones, or thick, sinewy musculature. Their sun appears to be older than our own. I have no idea how that would affect energy output to their planet or how their body would need to evolve in order to compensate.

So I can't really describe how I'd view Tali or the quarians, but I know every interpretation I've seen so far isn't it.

I honestly haven't speculated at all about how the Quarians look like below their masks. I guess they're humanoid, but I can't really think of any distinguishing features.

Maybe they're magical space elves?

I've just finished a Tali Romance playthrough & i've got to admit i was looking forward to the love scene before they went through the Omega 4 - not for pervy reasons, but because i really expected to get a glimpse of what Quarians look like under their suits........so i felt very let down with the scene that played out, you see nothing of Tali or Quarians that you havent seen before, not even their skin tone.

So what do we think Tali SHOULD look like? Well i think they should closely resemble Humans, I think they should have hair, if only for the reason that EVERY other species except humans are bald so far. Salarians, Turians, Asari, Krogan, Batarians, all bald. So give them hair.

It's clear enough that they have two eye's, a nose, a mouth, all of which seem human like. I would even make the skin tone human. For Tali i think Bioware could do a lot worse than base her very closely on the girl who does such an amazing job at providing her voice - and i've got to admit she sounds sexy. I saw a picture of Tali's voice actor & she is very cute, so put the girl in the game Bioware & then Tali will have a face that lives up to her body.

So i want Quarians to have hair, have human skin tone, and keep with the hints we have seen through Tali's mask - a human like face. Obviously we already know they have 2 fingers and a thumb and just 2 toes.

I was annoyed that at the end of the 2nd game we still dont know what they look like, especially with taking the time to romance Tali, and if we dont see them in 3 im going to be really dissapointed with bioware for kopping out. I did hear news broadcasts in ME2 which talked about a new medical treatment which would allow Quarians to live without their suits, so maybe we will FINALLY get to see them mask free in ME3.

Well since humans seem to be the only beings with hair, I'm guessing that the Quarians will be bald, or have some other head structure.

Just because all the other aliens are bald is no reason to make the quarians bald too, in fact it's more of a reason to give them hair if only to even up the balance. I mean why should all life except humans be bald? what is bioware's obsession with the follically challenged? ;)

Every alien in the game is also ugly apart from the asari, so there's a reason to even things up and make Tali cute, and sorry....but bald girls just dont look good, the asari's probably work because their tentacle's sort of suggest hair.

With 2 games down & not even a glimpse of what the quarians look like, bioware should pay some attention to what people want to see & they should steer in the opposite direction to the approach they have taken with the other species, so the opposite of bald and ugly for the most part.

Bald species 6 - species with hair 1

Ugly species 5 - nice looking species 2

Im not counting geth or rachni in this, or volus because we have no idea whether they have hair, but having the body shape of a beach ball on legs, it's fair to say they wouldnt fall into the 'nice looking' catagory.

It's niggly i know but for some reason i just really want them to get the quarians right.
