BioWare, why did you conspire to suck up all my time with this awesome game? My cats look lonely.
Your cats give you a choice in the matter?

I'd like to be able to gift materials to friends or at least to share materials among the characters. Does anybody know if the materials will be account-wide or specific to each character. In case my Reaver found a staff my Keeper could use and so forth.
Account wide. You pick up an axe on your elementalist and use it on your reaver.
It's true. I'll look back at my hundreds of hours of multiplayer and despair.

Maybe disturbedjim can keep em company.
Wait no, terrible idea, poor cats. ![]()

Mainly because all the naysayers have been shouted down, ridiculed, and bullied if they dare speak anymore
*pops out before the nice townsfolk with the tar and feathers can assemble*
Just a tip - that's what tends to happen when a lot of people who are very excited get very sick of irrational paranoia.

might have something to do with us naysayers hitting a sore spot by pointing out that its another scam in the making Cough Dungeon Keeper TV add banned in the UK by the Advertising Standards Agency after investigation found it was an EA P2W scam Cough.
Anyways us naysayers will sit and when the pro MP people start crying when the truth is revealed we'll all laugh at you while singing "ha ha we told you so"
More likely mp people will have forgotten all about the down right stupid arguments put up by some of the naysayers after a few matches. The beauty of it is that the naysayers will all try multiplayer. If they don;t they know they will have no leg to stand on when they try and keep bashing it. What class will you be playing?
Hi, I'm a total noob
and you'll probably find this question stupid but I'll ask it anyway: do xbox players absolutely have to be subscribed to Gold in order to play DAMP? Thank you for answering!
Im sorry, i used micro transactions to remove my tear glands, i also used them to buy you a tinfoil hat

I'm certain you'll need Xbox Live Gold to play the Multiplayer.
Yep, just like you had to have it for ME3MP. The only people that get out of this payment method are PS3 and PC peeps.

The only way I'll be playing it is when they release an actual Co-Op mode rather then the lame excuse to slide in Micro Transactions pretending to be a Co-Op mode that they currently have.( Which will likely be never since as its EA after all)

Yeah. I'm waiting until they take that entirely optional add on out of it before I try it, too. Because that's what makes sense.
I am so, so hyped about this! ME3's multiplayer is awesome (and I still play it occasionally, after 2+ years) and from the stuff we've seen so far, I'm confident the DA MP will be just as enjoyable and fun.
Oh shoot, I have a Master's degree to finish this year... well, sleep's overrated, anyway.

I don't believe you.

If you aren't going to use the optional content that's 100% going to be in the final game, perhaps it's better to ignore it and disengage from this topic.
Were the follower issues addressed for multiplayer: votekicking, text chat and cheaters?
I hope they learned some lessons from ME3 MP, with its abundance of rocket glitchers and AFK addicts.

What was the issue with votekicking?

Anecdotally, on some of the higher difficulties people were getting kicked out of matches for having a low N7 score, or for a bunch of other reasons.
The MP community was fun as a whole, but a strain of elitism was definitely there after a while.

I was actually referring to not having the ability to votekick an AFK guy out of a game in progress. You know, the ones who run into the corner and then do nothing, just waiting for the others to carry him until the end, so he can get enough credits to buy a random box, hoping to get a weapon that they will never even use in a game they find tedious. Rinse and repeat.
But now that you've mentioned it, I do remember being votekicked at the lobby for no apparent reason. But I guess that was due to not having text chat where somebody could tell me what I did "wrong".

Well yeah, that still happens actually, but I don't really see how that's something BW could "fix", short of removing votekicking altogether (not that that would bother me, I never kicked, hop in N7 1 Avenger Soldier
).

Actually that feature was implemented later in ME3's MP lifecycle, anyone that was idle for 2 minutes (I think that was the amount of time) would get automatically removed from the game.
I hope DA:I MP includes a similar feature.

Why ? because I'm not fooled by the generic press release hype/spiel into getting all lovey dovey about MP,Must have missed the part of the thread where it was stated "only Pro MP people are permitted to speak" If you can't handle negativity or differing opinions I'd suggest disengaging from people and forums altogether.

Oh yeah, that was also annoying!
Once I have it, I expect I'll give it a shot, but I won't do it more than a couple of times unless I can either solo it or remain anonymous while I play.I don't believe you.
