I am very happy that multiplayer will not impinge on the single player campaign in Dragon Age Inquisition
The multiplayer looks like it will be a fun addition to an amazing game.

leaguer, Bioware actively said ME3MP would have no effect on SP and it did
now Bioware are saying DAMP would have no effect on SP...
for some people this is a trust issue,
unless you have in your hands a fully certified copy of the game and have played both the SP and DAMP then you ONLY have the word of Bioware that they don't share data...you have to take their word on trust.
Just because you trust them doesn't mean others are not entitled to distrust.
you don't get to decide who people can trust - thats for them alone to decide.
Me I trust Mike Laidlaw a lot more then Casey Hudson and as such I am still going to pickup my DA:I inquisitors Edition along with my Inquisitors Guide and Art book.
And ME3 had an export system. Even if they stated the mp of me3 would not be need to see any thing in the ending but did they still had show a way a reason the muck things up with their mp to sp export system.
DAMP has nothing like that. They have no way to muck it up. You're just beating a dead horse at this point.
Using what they did in ME3 is not point to saying it's going to happen in DAI. DAMP has no export system. You would only have a legitimate reason is the mp did have an export feature of stats, resources and etc to the sp game. Till then it's a baseless fear.
It has nothing to do with trust but with security. If it has no export system, what is their to be insecure about?
That official gameplay trailer is so hot. This looks great. Can't wait to play this guys.
@_@ No one is baiting you.
The time for complaining about class restrictions was 2010. Not liking it is fine - I don't particularly like it myself. But since the bulk of this thread is people assuming SP elements were changed for MP it seems like an odd time to ****** about it. None of the devs have mentioned the design choice was to add in more challenge, unless you have a quote I missed?
Your last little bit was referencing cutting content, which is an asinine claim to be honest. And since it was made in reference to class restrictions with no other reasoning behind it, I have to assume that's the focus of that claim.
Sorry that my complaints aren't conveniently placed in accordance to your specific timetable then? How is it late to complain about though? No one is saying this is the last Dragon Age game, and even if it was it is still justified as feedback you can choose to take into consideration for the future. The other part of my post was obviously referencing a different quote, but I took the liberty of talking about it anyway since that's where this whole debacle started from -- Take time to read what I actually said. I even pointed it out too.
I'll even give a hint -- It was in regards to removing healing as justification for adding "challenge to the game". ![]()

how exactly do you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it doesn't export data? and if you say because Bioware told me, then you missed the point. you can only know for a fact if you have actively experienced it. Bioware has lied before
I honestly want to believe that they are being truthful with us. but past actions speak for themselves.
being wary based on past experience is not baseless because a precedent was set.
I am going to stop reiterating this point as it serves no further use in the thread. you either understand this very simple concept or you don't.
I'd give this a like if I could.
So I'll give you both a Like then
So I'll give you both a Like then
But now I want to give you a like back and I can't.... it's an endless spiral!

thats ok I'll just take an invisible cookie instead then.

What else is to said. The dev already stated it does not so it does not. They stated it's non-integrated. If you are saying the bioware is lying then it's clear your just being illogical. If you are suspecting they are lying about this then why are they not lying about everything else? Then that would mean DAI is no an open world rpg but a corridor fps. ![]()
Your argument is base less and illogical. Any info we get from the game is going to come from the devs one way or another and people who play the game. And we already have journalist who already have done that who stated the same thing bw is stating, are they lying too? Is dai really a corridor fps?
So again, You would only have a legitimate reason is the mp did have an export feature of stats, resources and etc to the sp game. Till then it's a baseless fear.
Looks brilliant!
Can't wait to build a pesky rogue in the MP, back-stabbery ahoy!
I will call her Jacinda, and she will be a dab hand and stabbing and/or cutting.
Seriously, removing healing spells and the weapons restriction is a decision above any form of logic I can possibly come up with to justify it.
Exactly that (same for all the other things in the posting you quoted in yours) -.- so bad, we get stupid-player (that's what I call multiplayer if it's added to games "just to be there", more so if those games were never planned with it in mind (remember DA - like ME was - is a SINGLE-PLAYER, STORY and CHARACTER DRIVEN RPG - not an MMO, not a multiplayer shooter, not a Co-Op-Adventure etc. - the MP is just tacked on, probably with ressources that could have been used (if the people working on it would have been made part of the main Dragon Age Design Team) to add some of the features we have long been requesting (from real quivers for our arrows, to sheathes for our bladed weapons, to more armor pieces, additional weapons (spears, halberds etc.) etc. etc.) and to get more (and probably better) polishing done - and, as an added bonus, they would not have had to delay the game to put that in (!)...hell, for all we know, the MP could be the real reason for the delay (one they don't want to mention!))
Note: It not being integrated (while I certainly like that, as I hated that the ME3-MP was necessary for the breath-scene) makes it even more tacked on (like a price-tag you rip of, if you want to give the object to someone else as a present)
greetings LAX
ps: Stop calling it DAMP - It makes me want to bury you under a mountain of towels...being wet all the time can't be healthy (even if you might be a women/girl ^^)
Maker, please send me class chevalier.
DA:IMP
According to the FAQ on the official website, that's what they're doing. For example, the Legionnaire is a Sword and Board warrior while the Reaver is a Two-Handed weapon warrior.
It also says that the team is comprised of some of the Mass Effect MP Team and we all know how that went prior to "the fix"..................
Let us just assume that people are able to learn for their mistakes through relevant criticism and experience.

Oh you mean a phenomenal success that went far beyond what EA, BioWAre or the people that gave ME3 mp a try? That team did a tremendous job. If you wish to discount all that was right with ME3 mp due to the one screw up on their part be my guest. The fact that they went mp in this game means a ton of people actually got over that faux pas.

mmm aren't we 60ish% water?
We're not going to stop calling it DAMP. For one thing, the developers call it that. For another thing, there's no better acronym for Dragon Age multiplayer.
Dragon Age: Garden & Grotto Expedition Raiding - DAGGER

For all we know they could have been the team that lost the Command & Conquer Title.

That's probably the biggest amount of parentheses I've seen in one post.
It also says that the team is comprised of some of the Mass Effect MP Team and we all know how that went prior to "the fix"..................
The flaws in the galactic readiness system had no more to do with the MP team than it had to do with the datapd app team. Now if the ME3 SP team had involvement, you might have a point.
