So is it confirmed that that the enemy setup is identical to ME3. With the three options being: Demons, Venatori, and Red Templars. i wish it would have more enemy freedom, letting us fight bandit camps, blood mage hideouts, or barbarian raiding parties.

I was surprised, I actually thought human bandits would be the fourth faction. I'm sure they'll add more enemies in soon though.

(It seems weird that if they're already in the SP, they can't find a way to introduce that roster into MP.)

Bullfrog, Westwood Studios, and Origin Systems, says otherwise. A bunch of others you could add to that list too. EA even admitted they royally screwed up with those companies so...not really idiotic when the "accused admits the crime".

Oh God yes they made mistake some minor some huge they are not perfect point is that there isnt' a single company that is perfect so the whole "EA is evil incarnated" is internet idiocy at his purest state.

They will most likely add new factions

Darkspawn is a good bet

The carta, maybe. And the dragon cult.

With each faction seeming to have their own boss monster like ME3.

There is nothing to "discuss" its a shameless, pointless tacked on worthless excuse for microtransactions piece of nonsense aimed at the COD crowd where all people do is blab about "my level 50 prestige whatever"

I'm going to ignore you now. Your posts aren't insightful or polite.

I'm not a CoD player, and I'm extremely excited for MP. I suggest you learn to deal with this optional gameplay that other people happen to enjoy.

Good day.

Your avatar makes your rant somewhat ironic.

Its not for no reason they got voted worst company in the US 2 years in a row. Got second place last year, I belive.

The company that makes The Witcher games seems rather "perfect" so far, though. Not about milking money out of their customers at all.

What about the playstations?

Basically the same question for sure.  I don't use play stations but they are in the same boat as the new vs old xbox.

Minor mistakes that cost people Jobs? they could not properly run the companies and the workers had to pay for it. I don't think EA is evil incarnate ,other companies do it to , but don't try and downplay a companies foolishness/bad business practices

I'm disappointed, but the chances of anyone with the authority to matter listening and caring is about zero, so I'll deal with it. As long as there aren't any bait-and-switch moments like ME3, I'll just ignore it.

On the other hand a company isn't a consistent entity from year to year. Its composed of different people, some of whom may bear responsibility for previous poor decisions, some of whom may be entirely new.

At the very least, the worst crime of EA's management and/or employees has been poor judgement in designing entertainment, which doesn't really hurt people to any great degree.

Is it realistic to think they'll do it similar to ME3? Take code from SP and continue to build on the MP experience?

I'm glad they are designing the sessions to be completed in under an hour. One thing that has me worried about Destiny is that the raids are supposed to take "hours" to complete. Now there's nothing necessarily wrong with that design, but it's not one I'm really interested in anymore.

My point was that if I get the new XBone then play m,p with it are most of the xboxers still going to be playing on xbox360?  I was more or less just curious how big each xbox population was going to be.

good question. I still don't think the Xbone population will be as big, as there hasn't seemed to be a system SELLER quite yet for either ps4 or Xbox One. Though the next CoD is Next Gen, as is AC: Unity, so there might be an influx in Multiplayer during this Holiday season.

I think Destiny's raids are designed for super hardcore people who have both a team organised, and plenty of time to spare.

"Strikes" sound like they can be finished in under an hour; certainly the one in the beta could be done in 30 minutes or less.

DAMP sounds like they're aiming for 20-30 minutes, which is roughly what ME3 did. From memory a Bronze game took 15 minutes ish, and Silver and Gold significantly longer.

A 2,000 dollar gaming rig is ultra status, 1,000 would be considered high

Well I'm going for 2K Ultra level with a view to 4K so that's why so much.

Yes it's completly with no reason especially when you think that they "won" when BP destroyed the mexican gulf, that was basically the end for any credibility about this story.

technically since the Inquisition is a independant faction i assume anyone would be fair game as enemies, especially in MP

Yeah, the story is already a famous Bioware cliche - "save the world from an epic threat". DA3 Gameplay is hard to say, but all flashy and action combat doesn't really look promising. Maybe it's characters would be a saving grace because they are already the best part of Bioware games imo..

A cliche story doesn't automatically mean it's gonna suck

I agree with your first paragraph but not the second. Making bad choices that negatively impacts a company which in turn makes workers lose their job is hurting people.
