MP won't affect my SP experience. I'm good with that. Only interested in this game for the SP campaign.
I'm sure most peeps feel the same way.
I had to play ME3's MP initially only because it DID affect the campaign. Now I don't see myself bothering the MP until at least I'm done with my first run of the story.

Do you think we'll get to know soon what the "Additional bonus digital content" is ?

Yes! I totally agree Sopa de Gato. But on the other hand DA 2 rogues did get some amazing perks/skills.
Only thing I really didn't like about DA2 rogues leap in combat. With the knives overhead? That just struck me as soon ridiculous looking (and I actually liked kicking the flasks >_> )

Would you actually accept any answer that Allan gave you? Or would you simply dismiss it if they weren't to your liking? I honestly want to know, since these questions seem as loaded as a baked potato with all of the fixings.
Better to deal with the the loaded gun facing you than pointed at you from behind.
How long till the novelty of an MMO wears out? Game companies want their games to be played by as many gamers as possible and offering something for both play styles opens up the possibility that some who initially don't care about MP will want to try it. Some of those gamers may even end up liking it. But you don't have this with a separate MP game because a gamer who has only ever played single player is not going to spend money on something they don't know if they will like it.
And a separate MP is also a slap in the face of gamers who actually like both because they should just have to buy both games, solely because some gamers think certain franchises should remain single player only, for who knows what reason.
Because the focus is focused on the SP. When you add in MP, things are always influenced or the focus is split in some way, whether directly or indirectly.
Because it isn't a rational response, it's an emotional one. They are venting their frustration and disappointment about things not going their way. If someone wants to throw a tantrum or start ranting, they're going to do it - facts and rationality be damned.
Not thats true for all. Some of us are dealing with it rationally and logically despite things affecting us emotionally and based on upon previous track records.

Semi Off Topic (ME Shenanigans):
The EMS requirement for mah bb shepard ending was 4k pre EC right? You can get about 3750 EMS with a perfect save on single player, WITHOUT dlc.
With dlc, that would bump you over 4k, making bioware's statement about not needing multiplayer true.
Also add the iOS games and such which aren't considered multiplayer.
Bioware didn't lie.
Actually they did lie when questioned on this pre EC nowhere was it stated that you must buy DLC to get that ending which is why its a valid criticism because if you did not buy any of the DLC then you were forced to play MP in order to get that ending so SP content from the stock game was locked behind a MP/DLC wall.

XD it made me think of my sith warrior.
Hawke can use the force :3
But at this point I'm just waiting for some PC gameplay with the PC Ui scheme and not that controller layout they keep showing. I mean a SS or something =/
I'm gonna miss spamming the heck out of haste though. That was always fun. Beth and Anders with haste man...killed so many things so fast ![]()

See, but there ARE rational ways to deal with those emotions. I expressed disappointment after the ME3 ending in the hopes that they would improve it. Expressing dissatisfaction is a way of getting things changed. It only becomes irrational when you have lost the ability to believe someone can or will change their behavior. If you don't believe them, then there's no point.

I assume there will be some MP "chests" or whatever.
What is even in the content? The 3 mounts, gimmick armor, couple weapons and the "chair" ... is that all at this point?

After a while I just got tired of grinding down too many goons with huge health bars, and just respec'd as a 2h berserker and started abusing that haste trick. Made the rest of the game so much more tolerable.

On the contrary ME3 is very relevant since they are giving the exact same "assurances" that were given about ME3's MP "not impacting" SP prior and after that whole debacle was public knowledge, they only begrudgingly offered a "fix" when it was evident that their reputation had gone so far south words could not even get you in the ballpark of how far south their rep had gone.Their total cagey attitude about whether MP was or was not in DAI prior to the reveal has not helped.
*edited, not worth the warning point for a bit of clever wordplay*

Not thats true for all. Some of us are dealing with it rationally and logically despite things affecting us emotionally and based on upon previous track records.
I can answer your questions for you, using a combination of bioware posts and logic then.
#1. Would DAI have been the same exact game had the multiplayer aspect not been included? Track records on other games show that it does even if small. Since resources or money could be spent making the SP even better.
Multiplayer does not take resources away from single player. Source: David Gaider's blog - http://dgaider.tumbl...takes-away-from
#2. Might even be a blast to kill a couple hours, but for how long till the novelty wears out?
Seems like something you would have to answer for yourself. Some people are still playing ME3's MP today, two and a half years after launch. Some people never played it at all.
#3. Or perhaps this is an initial test to see about perhaps making a full fledge DA MP game or godforbid a risk taking MMO?
They cannot answer you with a "yes" which would be covered by NDA, but cannot answer for the entirety of Bioware (since there are also teams in Montreal and Austin working on other projects) so the answer is guaranteed to be "I don't know for certain, and I couldn't say even if I did."
Why does it have to be a MMOG to be multiplayer? Diablo 3 is a fun game in single or multiplayer, and it isn't a MMOG. Civilization 5 is a fun game in single or multiplayer, and it isn't a MMOG. Divinity: Original Sin is a fun game in single or multiplayer, and isn't a MMOG. ME3 is a fun game in single or multiplayer, and isn't a MMOG. You make it seem like it needs to be one or the other, when it really doesn't.

Yep.
Hopefully I don't feel the need to cheat in Inquisition because the fights are boring me instead of engaging me >_>
Thinking on it the only time I felt "oh screw this." in ME3 was that final spam of Banshees and those hulk things. I already didn't like priority earth and my patience snapped right there. I did that in DAO with that freaking on hit kills of annoying darkspawn. I'm not too fond of how BW does hordes. It's more of an annoyance than engaging.
That and that stupid rolling Reaper right. Just wat. Oh god. Please no over exaggerated slow mo fight bosses in DAI *shudders*
Wonder if the MP dungeons will have any bosses...

Because analogizing video game multiplayer and facing down a loaded gun is totally a rational and logical response.

God just did that Terror from Beyond boss in SWTOR. *that* was immensely annoying. Fun but annoying.

Well here we go round two, and everything had finally calmed down.
Yea, I realised the same thing, so I'd already edited my post. Mind doing the same to hide my moment of stupidity?
