Do you have sort of like a "manna" meter the refils slowly after using a power or can you use powers when ever and how often you want? For example if you are an engineer can you you send out that orb thingy right away if the previous one dies?

that recharge like they did in ME1 how ever though the recharge rate it much faster.

I haven't played ME1, how fast was it?

It's a combined cool down, so you cast 1 power, then you are then unable to cast any power until the cool down is done then you can cast again, rinse repeat. From what we have seen the cooldown is much faster than in ME1.

In ME1 it varied based on your skills plenty of abilities lowered cooldowns, umm playing with my lvl 60 Infi/Com I would say about 15-30 seconds. ME2 from the videos it looks like 5-15

note that the interface is diferent than the 360 because they are playing on the PC, the 360 uses the powers wheel.
