I don't think I will buy the game if it isn't there.

Players should be given the option to import items or not. Some players may not want to do it.

We should be able to import items from multiplayer to single player, but not the other way around. This way you can earn money from people who don't want to farm and EVEN MORE PEOPLE WILL DO IT, because they can improve their SP characters.

I would be so pissed off if I can't get an item in singleplayer because I didn't put hours into multiplayer. I think it is better to leave them separate to avoid such a thing.

Well, the point is to allow people to make their characters stronger than they're supposed to be. Most people don't care about balance. If want to play a balanced game, then you can just decide to not import anything.

Most players are casual players. They may become frustrated if they can't beat a certain boss. It happened to me before.

My initial reaction to the news on MP and its focus on loot (and rewards that will be carried into SP) was that I was being penalized for being a pause-and-play gamer with a crummy internet connection.  Now that I've had a chance to calm down, I say fine, if you're willing to put up with kill-stealing and other folks grabbing all the good loot before you get there, why shouldn't you be allowed to bring back what you're able to acquire?  It's not like SP players are losing something, they're just missing out on a few achievements that no one will care about but themselves and some (hopefully insignificant) goodies, in addition to a lot of headaches.  i can do without the headaches anyway.

That's what lower difficulty settings are for.

I don't think someone will make a mod for it, but people who complain about not being able to get everything should also complain about people making extra content as mods for the game too. I mean they won't get all the items from those mods.

Not up for any challenge then? like tweaking party tactics or change of party make up?

Sounds like you just want a bigger & bigger sword until it is big enough to not build up a sweat & just press X = dead.

Shame.
