They are templars but as i said elite splinter and perhaps they were something different long time before but now as i said just an elite templars with extera job and hunting smarter mages that normal templars mages can't handle.

I think I'll stop now since I have already proven my point, while you continue to act like a troll.

I've joined this forum much earlier and I have been here much longer than TKS and he has spent his time, writing over 4k posts about genocide of people he does not like on DA, particularly mages. Now do you want to argue with this person? Its up to you.

Don't remind me of his solution, it's not the the first time I have argued with him.

And quite frankly I should have known better.

There are just some things that you can't and shouldn't argue about.

Proven what? If you proven that seekers stop templar abuses then give me an example of that as far you gave me codex entry that tries paint seekers as mysterious figures that templars run away from when both instances where we see seekers and templars paint their relationship in completely different light where they are more like rivals that cooperate with each other in hunting mages.

Over 4 k posts about genocide rly? Small part of that posts were about genocide but if you read my posts in mage-templar topics or related no wonder that you see that mostly not to mention that even in mage-templar topics i suggests that as solution most of time i argue about templars and mages so well...

Amusingly there is no record of rampaging blood mages or abomination in all Tevinter history. I'm not saying its a fact but its something to consider.

While I have no idea if it's canon or not, I like to think Tevinter has a great strategy for teaching mages not to become Abominations.

"Don't do it because it's ****ing stupid."

Practical Advice from a bunch of evil selfish guys.

Not "Don't do it because [insert religious reason]." which doesn't work if you're not religious and especially not when they say magic is evil in general because of religion.

Morrigan, for example, doesn't have to worry about becoming an Abomination not because of the Chantry because she knows it's stupid to become one and effectively suicide.

Merril too.

TKS: Genocide fixes all the problems!

Random Person: Lol, nope.

TKS: Yep

RP: Nope
TKS: Yep

RP: I give up.

RP No2: Nope

Fenris said that abomnations in teviner are quite frequent and someone said that mage (but i don't renember if that was tevinter mage) that was experimented with blood magic and he was possessed by demon. Not mention that blood magic significantly increases the chances of possession and tevinter is full of blood mages.

Demon wrapped merril in 1 second and convinced her to do his bidding if not hawke and later marethari you can just pretty much see how it would end.

Considering that my conversation here started with that chantry and circles do very bad job in controlling mages well go figure...

I never encounter that bit of dialogue from Fenris. As for Blood Magic, the only way it increases Abominations is because demon summoning leads to people making pacts with demons.

Also, the Demon in Dragon Age 2 was able to corrupt EVERYONE.

And danarius was dealing with demons.

Yes but only merril was mage...

I didn't say Tevinter didn't deal with demons.

Just said they were smart enough not to give up their free will.

It isn't so simple as we saw that you decide give up your free will or not i doubt that merril and other companions chose to give up their free will.So dealing with demon is far harder than just saying "get lost bi***".

Well Merril wasn't possessed either. I wouldn't be surprised if demons are very good at cheating like, "I will torture you until you accept me."

Or tricking the little girl by pretending to be a cat.

Some level of consent is necessary unless you're an animal or corpse.

That is so accurate, it's not even funny...

Regarding blood magic and abominations in Tevinter: I'm not sure we can trust anything we've heard. Our only first hand accounts are from an escaped mistreated slave and Lambert. They are both very biased. I'm hoping we'll learn more from Dorian, it's gonna be very interesting. I'm not saying Tevinter's all sunshine and rainbows, but I have a feeling that the truth will be more complicated than the nation of mustache twirling villains they seem to be right now.

well danarius confirms some of fenris's fears not all of course. Caladrius. Confirms the stereoype of tevinters are slavers. And hadrianna was a witch that used blood magic. I hope dorian confirms that these are bad apples

Because hawke and then marethari saved her by taking a bullet.

Accurate? lol as i said most of the time i argue about templars and mages for example topics like whether templars abuse mages or about disasters caused by mages my "final solution" is brought up perhaps 20 % of that unless topic is about how to deal with mages so well...

Yeah, Merril is an example of someone who demons can possess despite being otherwise smart because demons are smart at knowing what you want.

Tevinter and Morrigan, however, are so selfish it's kind of a protection against possession.

I think, at least.

It probably still happens, just not as much as in the Chantry.

I think the Chantry does good work but I think it's hampered by institutionalized prejudice against both elves and mages.

The City Elves include many Andrastrians.

They would be MORE loyal, though, if they could be priests.

Honestly, the Mage thing is bad but the Chantry is much-much worse for the Elf thing.

Mages you can justify, sort of, with the threat of Demons.

The Elf thing is just racism.

Not rly selfih or altruistic in matter of demons doesn't matter because demon can possess you in both cases what does matter are your weak points and willpower morality doesn't matter in that case.I doubt that as i said tevinter mages are more than egar use and deal with demons even just to gain power over another mage to get position pretty much i can see a lot abomnations...

True

I think Gaider said they can't be priests. Elvish racism is just too virulent.

Does it make sense? No.

But when has racism ever made sense?
