In spite of everything that went down with ME3, one of the things I thoroughly enjoyed was its multiplayer. That said, the beta release also sated a bit of the hunger I had for the game, as it still had awhile to go before launch.
The other nice thing about MP, is that it helped me prepare for the main campaign, i,e controls, etc. And with that in mind, I would love if we could have even a couple pieces of it, just to know what is to come.
What about you guys? Would you like it too, or would you rather wait it out until launch day?

Man, I thanked bioware and Mike twice on twitter already. I am so excited for this co-op. I LOVED ME3 co-op. So much fun.
And they seem to be bringing back all the best stuff from Me3 multiplayer. Ijust read the multiplayer FAQ and I am loving this feature already.
I dont want a beta. I want the full experience in november
There are so much games to play already in this fall, man ![]()

I think the only way to get to play MP early is to be a part of the EA premium service on Xbox. I'm fairly sure that was the particular part of the game they were hinting at a while back. Have fun storming the castle.

I would like it, but im pretty sure anything as far as a demo or character creator has been denied by bioware.
And I'm ok with that as long as the MP is good and functional and not full of bugs. If you don't need or require a beta/test then fair enough. But don't give me a broken bug filled piece of crap for $60 because you needed a beta/test. You get so many crappy broken games these days I have literally started marking developers of my list that I refuse to buy their games....and I stick to it.

I suspect the delay of the game has to do with MP though, so it's probably not ready for launch.

I'd like a beta.

And suddenly the MP became alot less appealing.

It's more likely the fact that a bunch of games were coming out Oct, 7th and they didn't want to compete or potentially reduce other developer's sales.
Game Industry people like to stick together and look out for each other, contrary to what the Internet would like to believe some days.

I would love to see a beta! especially now the game has been delayed it would be nice to have something to sink our teeth into!
I really hope they have another game mode like ME3's Survival...that would work REALLY well ![]()
Maybe we would see something like that in future DLC?

So they delay the game by working on the SP experience, while simultaneously working on the MP experience. Two teams, one game, have it out by a month later than the intended date because of problems that may be with the MP alone while the SP may have fewer problems with specific things that none of us know about yet until later.
Still. It's Better to have a better working home with fewer bugs, than a bug infested house of cards.

A beta would be good, as not testing something with gamers can be a bad idea (see Rome 2)

It would be good to have a beta release of only the multiplayer portion as Bioware doesn't have as many guys as needed to get an extensive look at how well the multiplayer servers do. A stress test would be nice to have, open the servers up for a weekend and have everyone log on at once.
Also, inviting people to advertise and stream multiplayer would be good. Inquisition needs more interest in this part of the game, Bioware needs to do as much as they can to get as many people as possible into it.

Yeah, I also hope they do a stress test too, because if I can't log in due to the MP servers, were going to have an issue either way.

THIS
Seriously I can't count how many times I was booted from a ME3MP game because of EA's terribad servers, some testing in October would be apprieciated

It's an amazing idea to release a demo of the co-op multiplayer, but again, EA server dependency, crashes, overload et cetera might give the potential customers a totally wrong impression of the game. If the demo had included independent LAN/Direct Connect trough IP's then at least the "matter" of external EA server would be moot.
As a sidenote: how do we access Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and Dragon Age: Inquisition co-op multiplayer when the EA servers go down permanently for those two games (look on Gamespy and all games dependent on them for multiplay functionality). We might be into a bad trend here with too "external server dependent" games... (think on it).

I can relate. I always feared that for my MP game too, considering how long matches could be. And if I got booted out thanks to the servers, well there goes that time and effort I put in.

Developers with the same publisher maybe, but definitely not rival publishers (such as ea and activision).
