+2 more.
Katari (? Qunari rogue I guess)
He wields Two-Handed battle axe, but who knows.
Necro was a lady - not sure if human or elf though. Haven't seen a FemQunari yet.

It had the warrior class symbol on his card.

Description for 3 of those characters:
Keeper - a proud elven apprentice who wields Dalish magic to protect and destroy.
Elementalist - an explosive personality who controls primal forces.
Archer - an expert marksman and sniper.
Also,Alchemist and Assassin seem to be Dual-Wielding rogues. Elementalist,Keeper and Necromancer are mages. Reaver and Katari are Two-Handed warriors. Legionnaire is a Sword And Shield warrior. And archer is...well,a rogue with a bow ![]()

Looks like a fun enough waste of time.. but I'm in more of the "could take it or leave it" crowd. Not sure what the overall point of it is, from a story perspective.
Kata means "death" or "the end", Katara means "die". Guess Katari means "killer"?

Yep, in the Game Informer article.

Playing out war table missions vs just a text update. To each their own.
I'm a bit out of the loop. What are war table missions?
I know of Advisors giving quests, but I expect those to be single player (with all the trappings that entails.. some might be cinematic, dialogue heavy, choice based, and all that).

From the gameplay, there also appears to be a Templar. Sword and Shield. Possibly female. So two of each weapon group (2H and S&S) and two of each gender?
That would make sense to me.

I think the concept is to "Fill in the blanks" that exist when we send our Inquisition agents on missions. In the DASP experience, we send them on an operation, and then carry on our merry way as Inquisitor, but the DAMP experience seems to be a snapshot of the adventures of our Agents. At least conceptually.
That's the impression I get.
As for my thoughts on the trailer, I know this will be met with vitriol, but I say this as someone who's looking forward to the DAMP experience, that trailer was kind of underwhelming, borderline amateur. (like a trailer You'd see on Steam Greenlight/Early Access, except with an amazing looking game supplying the live footage.)

Big ones we handle ourselves, some are just timed missions you get an update on later. It seems the less important ones are where you can play it out in MP. It doesn't affect SP results, just let's you play the mission as agents.
Cool. Didn't know about these timed missions. I see your reasoning then.. that's this is better than a text update.
Look, its WoW all over again.

I doubt that the MP will be very reflective of the diplomatic missions. Well, unless those missions go very wrong.
Probably it won't be very espionage oriented, either.

It's those two that most appeal to me too (diplo and espi). I'll get more out of the single player as far as this is concerned.
Looks awesome! Can't wait!
