ME3 more took MP areas and made them SP levels.
(The N7 missions, whose level design was very different from the rest of the game, presumably because they were designed for MP)

The Q&A about the MP on the Inquisition site refers to the Legionnaire with 'he' pronouns, and the Reaver is referred to as 'she' pronouns.

About the 4/8 talent problem, I noticed in the trailer that when going to the talent tree, where you can map your powers, there's no LT button to switch between the two slots, while It's present in combat.
The situation is very confusing. Plus I re-watched the video and i never saw characters switching slots.

From ME3 MP experience: you really do not want to waste time switching to an alt menu to us a talent. IIRC ME3 MP only had 4 talents plus medigel and rockets... I played on PC so I don't know for sure, but I would guess medigel and rockets were mapped to the triggers.

My post was more in reference of the critic that Bioware removed the option of using talents from the radial menu because of MP. If there are only four mapped powers, this critic would be unfounded.
