I live in Japan, have a Japanese 360.
I have to import about 90% of the games I buy from Asia to be able to get most western games day and date with America.
Asian versions are NTSC-J just like the Japanese version of 360 games so I can play them fine on my Japanese machine.
When I went to download Shale and some other stuff on my 360 I had problems though, I could log into my EA account and access the store fine. I could then connect to the server and see the content available for download (the server recognized my code as legitimate) but whenever I tried to download the content I got an error message on the marketplace screen.
Why? Asian versions are made to work on Japanese machines, why can I not get the DLC I paid for?
I'm really worried about the DLC for Mass Effect 2, I have it coming next week and the DLC for day one sounds great. Am I going to get screwed over again?
Am I going to get screwed over DLCwise like I did with Dragon Age??
