After finishing my current DAO run on the PS3, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the wonderful modders who created lovely extra scenes, morphs, bug fixes, etc., for the PC version (which I usually play). I had forgotten what a bug-riddled mess DAO is on the PS3. It was painful.

The epilogue slides alone were a travesty of bugs. The one that annoyed me the most was that even though my Cousland married a romanced Alistair and became queen, Queen Anora was uncomfortable with him staying in Denerim with my Warden. Um, Anora's either dead or locked up. Why would she care? Not to mention improper dialogues, people thinking things happened that didn't, and just a lack of extra coolness.

So, thank you, my lovely modders. You make DAO so much better.

Ditto on the thanks for all the hard work of the modding community, and the kindness they show in sharing their work. After my own very basic and always failed attempts to do things like create morphs, texture gear, and add the odd custom item to my game, I have infinite respect and stand in awe of anyone who can actually do those things. (And I cannae imagine what it must be like to actually be able to create additional content like cutscenes, dialogue, or quests.)

Hear, hear! I love my modded DA:O. Thanks to the modders, I'll be playing this game until either my disks wear out, or it's just too old to run on whatever PCs look like in the future. I really feel that going with an engine that can't be modded for DA:I and subsequent games will prove to be a huge mistake on Bioware's part. The mods have kept the original game fresh and playable, even though it's almost 5 years old.
