In some of the new articles about the MP, I've read mentions of a class called arcane warrior. If old classes are returning in the MP will more old classes come in the DLCs?

What new and old classes would you like to see, and what species and genders would you like it to be in.

I would like to see a female Qunari warrior, with the Spirit warrior specialization.

I was thinking that the MP kits would still use single-player based abilities/talents/spells, so maybe Arcane Warrior is like part Knight Enchanter and part [some skill tree that complements a melee mage build]. Just an assumption though, maybe they will have some unique MP skill trees kind of like ME3 MP did.

I'm sure it's the KE spec + Barrier and Mind Blast. Doubt they'll give us a sword-wielding mage right off the bat with MP, though they totally can do it in future expansions. ME3MP has shown nothing if not a willingness to rock the boat with later MP character designs.

Dunno if it's possible but Ash warriors (fereldan warriors who fight along side mabari hounds) would be neat.Hopefully Silent sisters as well.

I think they will bring all of the old classes back.  then again I have been wrong before...I was SURE that the last patch for ME3...or even for just 1 event weekend they were going to let you bring your Shepard into ME3 MP.  I was wrong

We know that there are 12 starting characters that you can get, there's probably one for each class and specialization and hopefully a unique specialization. I know that there's classes called Legionnaire, Arcane warrior, elementalist, and Reaver. What other classes are there? I'm really hoping that there are elf warriors, with hammers big enough that it shouldn't be possible for them to lift them.

I would also like a warrior class that is just a mabari. I want dog, and I want him to pee on things to get buffs!

We know that there are 12 starting characters that you can get, there's probably one for each class and specialization and hopefully a unique specialization. I think that what we know right now:

 

Warriors:

Legionnaire - male dwarf sword/shield warrior

Katari - male qunari two handed warrior

Reaver - female race-unknown two-handed? warrior

 

Rogues:

Assassin - male human or elf? dual wield rogue

Archer - female? elf? ranged rogue

Alchemist - female dwarf dual wield rogue

 

Mages:

Keeper - female elf mage

Elementalist - male human mage

Necromancer - gender and race unknown

 

That would leave one spot left for each of the classes. 

 

There's gameplay footage of what looks to be a human or elf female templar (sword-shield), so I think that she's the last warrior.

 

There's also gameplay footage of a mage who looks a lot like Anders.  It's almost certainly not Anders and he doesn't look like the guy in the character selection picture for the elementalist (who looks like an old human with a grey beard).  So this guy is probably the Necromancer.

 

If the Arcane Warrior is also in, then it's probably a woman (since there are already two other guy mages) and she's probably the fourth mage.

 

The fourth rogue class is still up in the air.  We don't know anything about them.

I look forward to seeing what classes are added to DAMP. ME 3 mp had some unique classes like the Asari Infiltrator.

 

Agree. Though my long time favorites were the EX Cerebus Adept and Vanguard. Those classes I really enjoyed and probably spent the most time with. It was very fun trying out the new classes that were introduced.

Much like how it worked in Mass Effect, I suspect all the base MP characters will use abilities that are also in SP.

 

Meaning if there is anything labeled as Arcane Warrior, it's likely just a Knight Enchanter and will probably be one of the characters I play a lot of.

Yeah, although I do hope to see classes with unique powers that are not in SP.

 

I would imagine that it will come with the DLC packs.

 

There may even be hope for things like Blood Mages, depending on how strictly they want to follow the lore. With ME3 they really weren't incredibly strict about it.

Playing as the Arcane Warrior would be great, even if it will be OP. Biower never nerfed Geth Infiltrator and then added AIU and Turian Ghost.

Considering the original Arcane Warriors were Elves and they are all gone now, with perhaps the exception of the warden. The only other Arcane Warriors are from Tevinter, and I am guessing they learned or forced the elves to teach it those powers to them. So I am hoping to see Tevinter Arcane Warrior.

Huh? If you're talking about in videos, it must have been the Elementalist. The mages are female elf keeper, male elf AW, male human elementalist, and female human necromancer.
