I wonder if Lash with barrier penetration evo will work. If it does, then it would hilarious.

Lash does work, and yes it's hilarious. I was pugging gold last night and landed in a game with friendly fire (FF) turned on. I was wondering why my character was alternatively covered in electricity and then dusted with snow until I realized there was a Paladin on the team spamming energy drain and snap freeze, although I didn't notice any impact on my shields or movement speed. Once I realized I tried to test it by sending a charged graal shot at the hosts head but, as usual, missed. FF was actually fine because everybody was focused on the MILLION geth hunters in one wave, then a MILLION rocket troopers in the next. We would magically get resurrected about seven times automatically but the game wasn't fun because everyone was constantly picking themselves up off the floor. I was a smashguard and the highlight was on the extraction wave when I tried to lash a mook on a slightly higher elevation but, as usual, missed and hit the Paladin by mistake. Next thing I see he's airborne and flying back over my head. Priceless.

Separately I landed in another modded game last week against Cerberus and most waves consisted of a conga line of Atlases. Only exceptions were a giant wave of pyros and--my fave--a wave made up primarily of Centurians. After the match finished everyone predictably switched to the Destroyer with either Typhoon or Spitfire for the next one.

I don't mind there modded games from time to time but I get the sense these modders are trying to go too big and the result is often clumsy and stupid, rather than more modest and creative changes that actually make the game more fun.

I was in a game a couple days ago where this happened! This Geth melee'd me to death when I entered the game; was really confusing. Luckily they left soon enough.

Bluelabrat just did this to me on my host. 

 

Earlier in prep I'd asked him why he didn't have any gear on (including permanent slot) and he put on a bunch of cc/survivability stuff and Armored Compartments. 

 

Between the ops pack spam, overload spam, and geth melee + turret heal, on top of the prospect of him having 9 missiles over the course of the game, as well as a free res *every wave* with the ability to hide behind packs of enemies from which to shoot his Geth Turret non stop, I decided to close the lobby after spamming rockets on him for a few seconds (a couple of which he apparently blocked with ops packs). 

 

I dunno if it was the constant regen or ops pack spam but my Fury BEs didn't really do much to him either.

Even though they've stopped support and generally ignore most hax, don't they still ban reported missile glitchers? Would it be worth trying to report this person? This is way worse than missile glitching.

I tossed in a report via the Origin client but it doesn't inspire much confidence that the interface is broken- I can't even state which game the offense occurred in. 

 

I did get a confirmation email, so I guess there's that at least.

It was a Cerberus/Plat game that was going horribly by wave 3. One Pug dropped out at that point and bluelabrat joined. Next thing I know I'm getting staggered by his Overload and killed by his Geth Turret. At this point, I knew there's was no way we'd finish the game so I just tried missiling him, but somehow he was invincible because he was hiding in a corner (it was on Goddess)

Anyway, after everyone except him died and was out of gels, he left the match so we wiped. He left the lobby afterwards in a hurry.

I knew at the beginning of the game that there was no way we were extracting, so I wasn't too angry. But I can understand reporting him

Okay, the Worlard sync kill patch only works as host. Oh well.

OT, bluelabrat is still out there pugging. He apparently isn't team killing any more but I didn't stick around to give him the chance to prove it.

I just played a game with someone who had apparently turned on friendly fire and did nothing but try to kill his teammates.

 

I also found a guy like that. Fortunately, I only have found such cheaters once in 300+ hours.

 

Maybe it's even just the same loser. Sadly, I don't remember his nick.

Just enable console, then use the switch sides command and you're good to go. Personally I'd never do it in pugs, but it's not complicated to pull off. You can probably guess what kind of reaction you'll get from people.

is a shame for the kroglord run like a little girl when a banshee, praetorian, scion, brute or phantom appears 

 

Well, individual phantom won't probably force kroglord off since as far as I can tell his running melee is rather reliable at staggering them. A bunch of them can be dangerous though, yeah.

Others are pain though, I imagine someone playing melee class because of lacking manifest (been still there, done that), and then running into something like that, not to mention that Praetorians are dangerous up close even without their synch.
