Thanks for this, ViceVersaMan. When the characters are finalized, I think I will have a new background for my desktop. Does anyone know whether the physical cards will be available to procure by any means other than distribution at Cons/Trade Shows? ...cuz 'dat art tho...

Well it wasn't in Mass Effect 3 co-op (although each character had things to say about being shot at by allies, like the Turian yelling "Amateur!")

It just doesn't seem in the spirit of the teamplay BioWare wants its players to engage in

There's no friendly fire, though someone who played the demo said you can kill neutral NPCs.

Well it is a matter of style I think.  I like it, it's different, the actual sprites will look much different I would guess.

Super happy the assassin is female. Don't know why, but lethal ladies are just more awesome. Really like her background too.

The alchemist has really grown on me.

Has anyone that played the DAMP demo from PAX, been able to divulge some info on the four characters that were available?

 

I really want to get some clarification on the Necromancer, specifically if she is DAMP's pet class, because if she is I think I might have found my primary character kit.

I didn't mean that they'd release the assassin again as a male but they'd probably make some other male dagger-wielding rogue or maybe just a totally different character you'd like. Multiplayer is best designed for playing around with a couple different characters anyways. It would get too boring just playing the same character all the time. At least that was the case with ME3. If you really, really want to specifically play a male assassin and nothing else, than yeah, you are probably out of luck.

The Mages absolutely refused to be spoiler-hidden so I had to redo that crap to get rid of whatever formatting was messing with the spoiler tag. Gah BSN forum, why dost thou formatting hateth me so?

At least now scrolling down to find the edit button at the bottom of the post won't be quite as frustrating!

I guess you could say the Mages were rebelling.

Still, I find myself excited about the Hunter...seems like he'll be more of a ranger-esque character, judging by his picture with butterflies and the dagger.

I wonder if they are going to release the character information on the remaining characters.  We still don't know the names and backstories of the Katari, Templar, Alchemist, Hunter, Necromancer, and Arcane Warrior, right?

I know they are at Montreal Comic Con, but this appears to be for the Dragon Age Egg Hunt only. Regretfully, "this one" does not believe that there are any more trade show demos before launch. However it looks like they are holding play-tests for lucky Canadians in various cities until then. So free health care, good beer, fries with cheese curds, a vibrant hockey league...and now the chance to play DAI pre-launch... Way to rub it in our faces you Lucky Canucks!

I checked DA Fan's latest weekend update in the Twitter thread. The only conventions on his calendar are Edmonton Expo in three weeks and Geek Girl Con in four weeks. If they release more MP info I doubt it will be tied to those specific cons.
