No. If he was dead at the end of DA2, he's dead and gone. If Justice comes back at some point, you can try kicking him... If Anders is alive at the end of DA2, chances are, he won't be appearing anyway. Adam Howden tweeted that he was not recording anything, but that was a while ago. Things might have changed since then, but I kind of hope they didn't. While I liked Anders in DA:A and DA2, and romanced him more than once, I'm not sure I want to know what happened to him. Even as a fan of his, I didn't think his story was going to have a happy ending.

Yeah... part of me wishes he lived from DA2, just so I could kill him again in Inquisition. Although knowing his body was rotting in the streets... that works too.

Your mistake was not killing him the first time round tsk tsk.
he has a habit of coming back.....I let him go in Awakening only for him to show up again so I let him die at the keep during the main battle and he comes back in DA:2
Bio chars in the DA univrse just wont stay dead for long unless your the warden

I really enjoyed Ander's in DA:A his comical side just eased the tense moments in the game, I seriously wanted to throttle him in DA2 many times over and rarely had him in my party except missions that required him. But I usually let him live, coarse I found out if you side with the Templars and let him live you get to kill him anyways and pissed off Sebastion too.
Coarse In my story in DA:A Justice lost his head at the battle of Vigils Keep, while Anders was with me fighting the Mother...so trying to figure out how Justice was able to join with Anders.

I wanted to kill him in Awakening. I got my revenge in DA2.

Well then... I know I'm a minority but I enjoyed Anders as a character.
Despite being crazy he was very interesting. Not going to try to defend him and say he's a good person or anything, but yeah. I have a hunch depending on if you killed him or not some things will be different, but doubt he's returning physically. And pretty much what Magdelena said -- he's such a tragic character I kinda don't wanna know and leave it on the semi-happy note for my Hawke's who ran away with him. I enjoyed him in DA2, but he has nowhere to go but even further into losing himself after the end of the game. I know some people want to get their twisted, torturous revenge but I think stabbing him and killing him in DA2 should be enough before it enters psycho town and you become pretty much just as bad as him anyway.

If I remember right Anders VA (from DA2) tweeted while ago that he's not going to be in DAI. So that probaply means Anders isn't in the game either.

On a semi-related theme - we know we get to encounter Hawke in DAI so what about their love interest? Will they be the one to point us in the right direction? If not, will we get an explanation of why they are no longer with them? Certainly if Hawke spared Anders and run off into the sunset with him, you'd expect to encounter him again but if the VA hasn't recorded any dialogue, he'd either be mute or not seen. Same applies to any of the other LIs and I think one of the Devs said that whilst we might hear Gideon Emery's voice again, Fenris will not be appearing either. So I hope some explanation will be given for the missing LI.

wait wait...can you really do that ? run off with him ? I though no matter romanced or not....he was doomed . Like blow off the chantry = instaaaaaaaakill lol
And no I never romanced him , I can't stand him . Merely did his quest while giving Bela the ![]()
If Anders doesn't come back , doesn't that leave a vaccum.....in the 'who gonna complain and make me go Grrrr Arghhhh' ? ![]()

I suspect this is part of the reason that DA2's LIs aren't appearing in DA:I. What's done is done as far as DAO is concerned. So many headcanons were exploded in DA2 I doubt they'll ever go down that road again. It would make a nice change to let each game be its own entity rather than a continuing saga.

Anders pisses me off. If that is the intention of the writing of his character. Bravo

You may not have thought through this angle yet, but it is possible to love Anders as a character, and still kill him in the end. Don't assume everyone who kills him does it for petty murderous revenge.

Unless Anders got completely overwhelmed by Justice/Vengeance. Maybe the only thing left of spared Anders is a meat suit for a demon to wear.

For me personally, it would take too long to explain it all. But seeing this many people speaking that way about him? Obviously there is a reason for it.
