Let me start by making it clear i am not saying i prefer the pictures shown below but instead just think it is interesting that people have made these before the game has even come out. I understand this can be a touchy subject for many people but i hope this thread won't turn into a flamewar and instead discuss the ideas of using cosmetic mods. I'm curious what people's opinions on  using cosmetic mods to change the way characters in Inquisition look. From skin, hair and eye color to hair style/length, clothing, etc etc. I really enjoyed these kind of mods in DA:O.

 

I've read conflicting reports on whether any kind of mods will be able to be made in Inquisition so this may be a completely moot point. However, assuming mods that change character's appearance are eventually made and available what would you do with them? Would you use them? Be disgusted? What kind of personal cosmetic changes would want if any? Personally i like the idea of giving Cassandra longer hair, maybe a pony tail of some sort.

I would have been more open to discussing if the only 2 dark skinned characters weren't white washed.

The one with Cassandra made me smile, but the others are.. humm... kind of... well, "Aryan" is the first term that came to my mind. :/

There were no better pictures on the net other than the ones which whitewash two characters? Whitewashing is beyond appaling.

I am not completely against mods but I am only a fan of ones which increase texture quality without actually altering the vision of the writers.

I wouldn't call it 'modding characters' appearance', but white washing their skin. Also emo Solas? Dude, I've no words to describe this. And perhaps it's good I'd get more warning points. 

I hope this thread gets blocked.

I know white washing is a very touchy subject and it is something that i personally do not support. However i felt the need to add the pictures as they were the only examples i could find of the kind of changes i was talking about.
