I will be as silent as I've always been,

Lulz does anyone talk on PC?

I've mic'd up plenty playing ME3 MP on PS3, mainly with pals though, can't be bothered much with randoms, strange experiences in the past have put me right off that. Hopefully we'll get some good mic support for this game.

I never talked to Randy on ME3, and about 5% of the people I played with ever tried talking to me. I got along just fine.

I have a mic, and I will have it on, but I rarely talk considering I mostly run into people that do not even use them.

I'm pretty shy about using a mic and never did in ME3 mp, but most my favorite matches were with people using and mics. I might try it this time around. In ME3, I always found it odd when I could hear someone, usually coughing, and they don't say anything at all during a very difficult match where a little coordination could have made things easier.

I'm an Eve Online player, where Teamspeak is pretty much mandatory. If people are using their mics, I'm down with it. Though I played ME3 mp om the 360, and am somewhat less... enthusiastic about talking to the Xbox Live crew for some reason. Back to pc this time, hopefully PC gaming's mic phobia can be overcome.

I'm kind of shocked so many people who care enough about gaming to join and participate in a forum about gaming do not have/use a headset

I can't even play games without a headset...seriously, if my headset is broken I refuse to play until I have another.  The surround sound and sound quality are just too good.  And playing a MP game without communication? Screw that.

I have headphones, I just don't have a mic.

I say 'thank you' sometimes.

'Sorry' during others.

It's a gaming forum that for the most part has been dedicated to single player stuff, not sure why caring to participate in such forum would lead to thinking they'd consider a headset a must.

Unless you just mean good quality headphones in general.

I mute everyone.

Lol,just now I was listening to some people chat about me during a multiplayer match. They were trying to discuss whether I had a male or female name based on my gamertag.

Playing micless is amusing sometimes. :P

OP, would you really want young children calling you foul names over voice chat? I would prefer to be able to ping the map and have my character voice my intentions (Heroes of the Storm) then to have an avenue for people to abuse others with.

I really do appreciate polite people on the mic.  The 1st time I rez;d someone and they said thank you I was surprised for some reason.

I intend to get a mic by the time the game comes out and I am definitely going to be playing multiplayer a lot. Especially when there's any sort of Community Challenge. However because I'm a completionist and I tend to do everything I possibly can with my first profile, I probably won't finish the game until... our like fifth community challenge or something therefore as much as I like talking about Dragon Age and would like to vocalize strategy, I would like to see some sort of group come up of ps4 Inquisition players who've agreed to not reveal any spoilers from the main game. If anyone here fits that, please add me.

Or if you've seen some kind of group or topic like that, please message me.

Biower just has to provide a text chat this time. No text chat in ME3 mp was a travesty and one of the most moronic **** I ever saw on PC. I mean no text chat in the multiplayer game?! Majority of PC players don't use voice communication, but almost all use a text chat.
At least exbawks players had a built-in console chat in me3 mp.

Really? When would you have a chance to use text chat anyway? You'd only really be able to use it between waves. Seems mostly useless to me. Also, you can unlock text chat in ME3MP.

I have no mic.  Going by ME3 MP, neither do a lot of other PC players.

I wonder if we'll get text chat?

We have mics. We just use them as the gods intended: muted. :P

Too busy playing this over VOIP to actually talk into a mic.
