I'm split between Archer and Legionnaire :)

I love the tarot artwork.  Out of these choices, Assassin is my high priority to try out.

Elementalist all the way! Or any mage class, really. My friends don't like casting classes so I'll probably end up the mage/caster/supporter/healer of the group, which is more than fine by me. :P

Necromancer/Elementalist - Assassin - Legionaire.

If Necromancer is nothing like blood magic and it's more like summoning corpses. Then Elementalist.

I'm looking forward to Rogue, but alchemist has my interest for Inquisitor (and once I saw an example where a book was being yieled in Magics, so I'm curious to see if that still exists.)

Out of those four options I'd choose "The Elementalist", I want to freeze those demons to death.

Probably Reaver for some melee AoE rampage.  ^_^

(out of those presented, probably the Assassin)

Not sure. I will probably try it out once I have beaten the SP thoroughly. There will probably be more classes out by that time. I am sure there will be some achievements worth getting via multiplayer too.

How does it work if 2 players end up playing the same class? Do we automatically get put in a group of players that has all the other bases covered, or can we end up in a group with all rogues?

I think they said that you can have multiple players with the same class, so it stands to reason that you could have an all rogue group too.

However, that seems to go against the idea of giving the characters set backgrounds with banter.  What if you have four players of the same class?  How will the character "banter" with him/herself?  Seems at odds with the idea of set characters who interact with each other.

Could be different banter based on the race, I suppose.

There's no race selection for the classes, though.  If all four players choose the Legionnaire, then all four will be playing Korbin, a dwarf male sword/shield warrior.

So that's the thing that seems a bit off.  Four Korbins all talking to other Korbins?

Ahh I thought it might be like in ME 3, with no name characters.

Yeah, that would have made sense then.

I actually really like that they are going to go with set characters with backgrounds and distinct personalities.  It's a different take on the MP experience.  I just assumed that it would be like the Assassin's Creed MP where once you select a character, it locks him/her out for the other players in your group.  It seems to defeat the purpose of having unique characters if we can all just pick the same one.

I'm actually pretty excited about this MP, despite my earlier misgivings.  It introduces 12 new characters.  It's a dungeon crawler, which I love.  And it's co-op MP, which is the only MP that I actually enjoy.

I only like co-op too, for the most part. Horde mode on Gears of War 3 being a favorite.

Whatever turns out to be the most overpowered tanking class, I guess. Thing is, my friends have all roles they're real comfortable with. In every MMO/RPG we ever played together, one chose always the healer, the other one always did insane damage, the next one always chose a caster-character. And strangely enough, I didn't feel comfortable when we did try to switch roles.

I have a thing for dwarven ladies though. So I will definitly go for Alchemist too.

I probably won't play the MP until after my first playthrough of DA:I, but when I do, I'll probably go with Assassin.  Dual-wielding, FTW!   :D

I will get around to trying out every character as I have for ME3 MP, so the real question is: what will be the second class I play as?   ^_^

Out of those, I'll go with Legionnaire to start with. But after I am able, I really want to try out that Reaver character.  She looks awesomely badass.

So many options... I will likely start with Archer since I usually play that character. However I'll likely keep a Legionnaire and Elementalist to round out any groups I join that require balanced class representation.

The more I look at it, the more I just love the elementalist's attitude. Blow up all the things!

The elementalist looks so excited !

feel my flames !

see how my arms can detach from my shoulders !!

The bigger decision for me is when to delve into mp.  Originally I was going to make sure I played the sp game through before starting mp but I'm waffling on that now.

Loving the art-style they're going with for everything in this game, it adds a really nice touch.
