It is said that the bull is here to spy on you, will you accept this and then gain the the information he gets from his own spy network or put a stop to it?
Not sure if this has been mentioned in the bulls thread but I think it would take to long to read in full to find out.
So what are you going to do?

stab me in the back ill stab you in the neck. I'm not too keen on him already and I'll be playing a warrior.
that said it seems thats all behind him and all he cares about is partying and getting laid....at least from what I've seen. I can understand that. I wouldn't let someone live who was doing me like that though...even for story purposes.
Of course it won't go that far...he turned his back on the Qun and he will reap his reward.

giving information to the scum in the north >.>, i can give him a chance to drop it but if he sticks to the qun then our interests will collide (assuming i even get the option to drop/kill him when he is let in)

Its not really spying if someone says "look, I'd love to kill monsters for you but if I do the Qun demands I send reports home."
My Inquisitors will probably be chilling with the bull in a tavern after a hard days fighting and seeing how outrageous we can make the reports. "Today the Inquisitor felled thirty-six trees using only her eyebrows." And so on

I'm going to say yes probably. My reason being is i'm going for having an inquisition built to be a military force not to be messed with. So i doubt i'll be hiding anything from anyone. I'm sure my agenda will be quite clear to people.

I'll accept it as long as there's nothing I particularly need to hide from the Qun. If at some point later secrecy must be maintained, then I might have to stop him reporting back.

I wouldn't call it spying. Unless it's a red herring by Bioware, he seems rather up-front and honest about the whole situation.
Now, if I catch him sneaking around the Keep & going through my underclothes we might have a problem. Unless I'm romancing him, of course.

I let Zevran into my inner circle 30 seconds after he tried to kill me, so I can't see myself begrudging Iron Bull sending out reports as to how much a badass the Inquisition is. Maybe it'll make the Qunari hesitate.

I have no problems with it. He's upfront about his requirement, and information is a two-way street. If I was a less nice character, I might take advantage of opportunities to feed false information his way, too.

Awesome concept. I plan on stealing it. Seriously, ****** for tat. If I wind up thinking that I'm getting shortchanged, I assume there will be some kind of option to fire him. None of the actual companions looks like they're perfect, Iron Bull just looks more up-front about it than most. I can accept that.

he's a large guy, so it will require a large axe
on the plus side he's about as un-qunari as you can get so maybe he'll see his foolishness and drop the qun like a stone, one can hope as i like the look of him other than that

different quizzes will react differently. Some will want his head, Others don't care, Some will begrudgingly accept and a few will be spying on him as much as he is them.

Neither Inquisitors I have planned so far are the type to kill straight away and this excerpt,
The Iron Bull still sends the Ben-Hassrath reports, but years of living outside Qunari rules have him wondering which identity is really him.
makes me think there is wiggle room for how loyal he will be to you depending on how you interact with him.
Some inquisitors won't tolerate it at all though and that's understandable.

I would not allow it. The Qun is pretty loathsome.

How else is he going to report back that the Grand Qunari Experiment was a failure.
They opened the Breach you know - to see if the people of Thedas could truly unite and gauge their strength - of if the Arishok was correct about Thedosians all along. (of course this isn't what's going to happen)
So - when I close it - Iron Bull is going to have to go back and report: "We are not ready. There is strength in them yet."

He can spy on me all he wants so long as he flattens demons in the process.

If we have the option I'd rather execute him instead. He seems like a great character but the character I'm RPing would never allow any other organisation to spy on him.

My canon Inquisitor is definitely going to have a problem with Bull's ties to the Qun.
Even if he is up front about it, and I choose to recruit him, I would still like to be able to confront him about it eventually. Ideally, I would be able to convince him to renounce the Qun and be loyal only to the Inquisition.
Whether this be through a friendship path, or the opposite- a crisis point where I get to give him an ultimatum and even fight him to the death if he refuses to cut ties to the Qun (because I can't simply allow him to leave and give away all of the Inquisition's secrets to the enemy), either way, I hope something like this happens.
A huge problem that I have with Bull is his hypocrisy. He is working to further the interests and power of the Qun- a philosophy whose followers are chomping at the bit to invade, forcibly convert, and subjugate the entirety of Thedas- and yet Bull doesn't want to play by the rules of the Qun himself. He wants to eat, drink, sleep around, and be merry all the while working to enslave the rest of Thedas into a crappy way of life.

I'm not going to turn him away for spying, especially considering he's going to be spying for us too. He's already giving into life outside the Qun, I believe with the right choices he'll eventually abandon the Qun altogether.

My femquisitor will be more concerned with the demons pouring out of the sky than the Qunari who aren't an immediate threat. In her mind she already has had enough responsibility thrust on her and considers the Qunari someone else problem.
