My femquisitor will be more concerned with the demons pouring out of the sky than the Qunari who aren't an immediate threat. In her mind she already has had enough responsibility thrust on her and considers the Qunari someone else problem.

The Qunari are the answer, not the problem.  Get down or lay down!

My Inquisitor sees not only the current threat, but also the future threat on the horizon.

One threat at a time, in order of magnitude.  There has to be a world to save before politics become important.  Veil tears sealed.  Big Bad done.  Game over.  DA4.

Eh, their spy network might reveal info the Inquisition Agents might have missed. And if the Quanri are smart then they should know that if the Inquisition fails then they are going to have to deal with the Breach. So it's in everyone's best interest to deal with that.

Well definitely the first time, because I'm not going to miss out on seeing what a character is like and I want to see if he stays loyal to the Qun on a friendship/romance path. I mean, he's up front about it so he's not betraying you or anything. I also doubt if he grows to care about the Inquisitor that he would do anything that would ultimately harm them or the Inquisition's cause, but we shall see.

Sten declared the Warden Kadan and still told the PC straight up the Qunari were going to invade, despite him not wishing to face the pc on the battlefield.

If Bull actually still gives a crap about that cult he is devoted to, i doubt friendship or "romance" will mean much.

Why not? I get him as an ally, I have nothing to hide from the Qunari, and if he is a meanie head, I can mislead him.

So far he doesn't seem like the typical Qun follower, so I question his loyalty. I don't plan on trying to convince him one way or the other (unless I have no choice somehow), I just want to see what happens.

No, the Qunari are a problem, The Problem to be honest.

.-. I expect to see nothing from Qunari other then them being Qunari.

I wonder if Bioware would actually let the PC join the Qun should they ever actually do the Qunari invasion arc.

I expect them to be really big... and probably able to drink me under the table. :3

But on topic... "he has nothing to fear but his past". My thought is if the Qun was what got him into whatever horrible situation that may have been, he may have since then lost his loyalty for it. Maybe. Or maybe not. In which case we can still be friends, but I'll have to kick his butt if he ever comes back to invade. Then I'll go drinking with him afterwards if we both live

Sure why not, I just hope that we can influence him into falsefying his reports and eventually make him renounce the Qun.

We all forgetting that Sten tells you upfront he'll follow you to see what the Blight is about but then he'll go home and report everything he's seen to the Arishok? And when it's all over he again says he has to go home now and report your adventures? If reporting everything he's seen around you (yes, including that time Zevran gave you an "Antivan massage") is spying, then Sten was a spy too - and we gladly brought him into our party.

I'm in the camp that information works both ways, too. As much as Bull can report to his people about my Inquisition, we too can get much out of him in the who knows how many months/years he'll spend among us. My 'quizzies are not shy to make friends in dangerous places either - if my Wardens could shake hands with ancient sentient darkspawn just to see where it went, surely my Inquisitors can handle the company of one horny qunari.

Sure if you don't mind that ending being so non canon it will make an intact star forge wince.

Bah, you need to invest more points in constitution!

True enough, but I could honestly see the invasion as the last installment in the franchise so who knows.

I'm not so sure the Qunari would lose a war if there was one....and thats even if the PC isn't on their side.  They're not like fighting the reapers obviously, but they are no pushovers....and if you got to choose sides that's pretty much a wrap.  Their strength, dedication, and resolve are no joke.

Eh, I don't know to be honest.

They said they roughly had a road map for five or so games, so we will just have to see where it goes from DAI.

My first character (human mage) I have planned will probably be a little leery of him at first. I'll ask him to stop given the chance but if I have to accept it to let him join, my character will agree, just keep watch.

The second character (Dalish) I have planned won't have any problem with and will understand where he is coming from. Just so long as he doesn't directly put any of us in harms way we shouldn't have a problem.

Depends on what he's spying on.

If he gives report of the Breach to the Qunari, I don't mind.

From a RP point of view , playing a Dalish who was spying on humans , well...I'm going to tell him to have fun with his reports.

With my human mage , I will be more careful and if it's possible I'll ask to see every reports first.

I don't see why not, what big secret of mine is he going to reveal? I'm trying to close the fade tears and kill demons (a mutual goal with the Qunari and most others) not invade their lands or something.

Our favorite color... lol

M!Inquisitor's downfall is when the Qun gets intel on whether he wears boxers or briefs and find out it's neither. >.>

That will be obvious for anyone to see, as I shall garb my soldiers in the brightest of pinks. The pinkquistion will rise and cover Thedas with its' rosy opulence!

Well since the Inquisition will be dealing with poilitics in Orlais , Ferelden , and some side mission in Nevarra and I think the free marches.(with agents)

The Bull can tell the Qunari which country is having problem with what , what places are weakened etc..Who are the most important leaders ...etc...

With this the Qunari could be more effective when they invade.
