Of those four, I would probably play the Legionnaire, followed by the Elementalist, the Archer, and then the Assassin
I'd actually really like to play the Templar (Gorgeous!), the Keeper, or the Hunter. Still like the Legionnaire, though.

Arcane Warrior. Because it's badass.
Out of those four I would go with Korbin the Dwarf Legionnaire. Normally, I never play as the warrior/tank types but the pre-established background for the character; especially him being a part of the Legion of the Dead; has piqued my interest. If nothing else, the use of character backgrounds and integrating them into the overall narrative of the setting has enticed at least least one player into trying out a class that he would overlook or ignore.
Out of all the announced characters though, I would have to say either the Necromancer or the Keeper, whichever one is the pet class of DAMP. I know that Necromancers and Dalish Keepers have other powers than getting undead minions, or sylvan guardians to pummel your foes, but there is just something intrinsically satisfying knowing that you don't have to lift a finger to fight your foes; that your faithful servants are more than willing to crush them for you. ![]()
That is why I love the Witch Doctor from Diablo 3 and the Overlord from the Overlord series so much
.
Of those 4, archer or legionnaire. Really interested in a healer role if one exists though - something I (unexpectedly) miss a little from my WoW days.
The Keeper I think will b 1 most likely to have the heal powers......Now as for which ill go at Multiplayer with is Reaver for my Tank, Necromancer as my Mage,Hunter for my ranged rogue, and Assassin for my in ur face rogue
I haven't played the first two DA games and the Archer seems to have the smallest learning curve, so..
Probably the Archer or Assassin first, I just have such a...love...of longbows.
All. Simple ![]()
Of these 4, I would take the Elementalist out for a spin first. In the grand scheme of known characters, I am all about Templar and Reaver.
From this list, I'll probably go for the Archer. My first few MP outing would likely be with a warrior or an archer as I'd like to keep things simple till I get better at it. Then it will just be mages and backstabbing rogues
Which character has the most trolling potential?
Probably Assassin. Stealth to avoid aggro, come out with massive damage to kill steal.
Legion of the dead!
Definitely Legionnaire! Love my Dwarves!
I'm sure I'll skip around the classes but I definitely want to level up Legionnaire first.
I'm not a very good competitive video game player so I tend to shy away from multiplayer. There are a few exceptions for me so far and they've all been games where it's almost as fun to lose as it is to win (like TF2, for me anyhow). I've dipped into the ME3 multiplayer but felt like I was joining in to the group too late to really be any good or to feel like I was really contributing to the groups who had all found the best parts of the maps and knew what waves were coming.
So all of the news so far about DAMP is really getting me excited to get in on the ground floor of a multiplayer experience and feel like I'm learning along with everyones else. If the play is as dynamic as it's touted to be, it will definitely be accomodating to new players for the entire duration of its support.
Probably Assassin. Stealth to avoid aggro, come out with massive damage to kill steal.
So in other words the Infiltrator? Those aggro shedding scum bags! (Especially the Geth)
I will definitely try the dwarf first, solely because he's supposed to be the tank. My mains were always tanks in every MMO I've played, so the fact that I'll be able to tank in DA got me really, really, REALLY exicted! LF a good healer ![]()
Why not all?
Why not all?
Inevitable!
Archer for me. If for no other reason than that's my favorite tarot card so far...
Necromancer. Mwuahahahaha! Dance my undead puppets, dance!

Please let the Necromancer be DA:I's pet class. Please Oh Please Oh Please Oh Please.
....... Pretty Please?

That's what I'm hoping for too.
I'm going to be sorely disappointed if it turns out to be curses and stuff like that. =/
Might as well have called it a "Witch" then.

My feelings exactly.
I know that Necromancy entails things other than raising undead minions, but all of the other spells; things like life drain, chill touch, etc; are already covered by the other classes, and they do it better.
Life Drain? Reaver says hi.
Chilling effects? Elementalist says hi.
I want the Necromancer to bring its own unique play style to the game, not being a mage with the poor man's (or woman's in DAMP's case) version of other classes spells.
I'll likely do the same I usually do in MP games. Meaning I'll choose the hip class
.
I like to play the under represented and underestimated classes. Not to mention that the rarer the class is the easier it is to find a party. My gut tells me that out of those 4 it'll most likely be the Legionnaire so I'll probably stick to him. Although I eventually really want to try either the Hunter or the Arcane Warrior
.

Considering the Necromancer is most likely one of the new SP Mage Specializations, I think the two of you might get your wish!
When BioWare first posted the class info on dragonage.com, if you viewed the images of the "hidden" specialization icons as a separate page it provided the names of the two "as yet to be revealed" specializations as "Rift Mage" and "Necromancer." Since Specializations normally do not reduplicate from other skill trees within the same class, it's a safe bet that the Necro does something completely different.
So bring on the Master of Puppets.<head-bangs like a Krogan>
Awesome. Necromancers always seem to be outclassed by elementalists etc in most games. I want my Jason and the Argonauts skelly army, dangnabbit!
