Awesome. Necromancers always seem to be outclassed by elementalists etc in most games. I want my Jason and the Argonauts skelly army, dangnabbit!

Or the Witch Doctor's zombie army in Diablo 3.

Or the Overlord's minion/demon army in Overlord 1 & 2.

:)

Yeah, the Witch Doctor class in Diablo 3 and the Mechromancer class in Borderlands 2 have been two of my favorite video game RPG classes that I have played recently.

I love how those two archetypes altered my 'DPS above all else' mindset, and in some ways almost giving me a smug attitude when it comes to fighting the AI mobs of the game. It may not be the most damaging of character builds, and it might not be all that effective in the long run, but nothing beats going into a fight and thinking to oneself:

"I could kill you all right now if I wanted, but I think I'm going to watch my minion(s) tear you apart for me instead."  :P

 - Warrior - I'd like to be a Templar and Qunari Katari.

 - Rogue - I love range classes.. So Maybe the Ranger and Alchemist.

 - Mage - I only like the Arcane Warrior and Elementalist........ I'll pass the Necromancer and Keeper.

So my main agent in the DAMP will be Templar/Ranger and AW or Elementalist.  I love melees though.

My DAO main import is Human Templar, Dalish Ranger and my Bloodmage elf. Loved those classes in DAO.

For Azaron and Vortex13,

So now it's official. They have revealed all Specializations in SP for all classes on dragonage.com.

Necro description reads: "These mages specialize in binding the spirits that are drawn to death. They can put the fear of death into enemies, bring spirits to fight on their behalf, and even cause devastating explosions when their enemies die."

Let the macabre squeeing commence!

I am really stoked for the Necromancer, and the specialization description more or less seals the deal on it being my preferred class.

The only thing I would like to see is for the use of (what I am assuming to be) spirt possessed corpses (and not straight up summoned spirits) to have the option of using them as an actual pet vs. undead grenades (a la Walking Bomb). I want to be more about controlling an army of the dead Overlord or Pikmin style and less about having my zombies be brief, 30 second summons that are only useful as semi-intelligent explosives.

Not that this would be a deal breaker for me if this isn't the case. I will still enjoy being a lord of the dead either way, I just want to play the role of true minion master.

I'm interested in the qunari Katari because he uses 2 handed weapons.  Hopefully that word is a rough translation of "Champion."

The burning question for me is, what's the key difference between Archer and Hunter. Please say pets for the hunter! maybe traps?

Keeper. Keeper. Than the keeper again.

Maybe break it up playing as the elementalist and the hunter (that's the archer, right?).

Aneth ara, fellow Keeper. May the Dread Wolf never find you and your shemlen Reaver teammate never look upon you with hungry eyes... ;)

Rouges who use pets are called Rangers. Traps are possible, but I don't think that traps would be all that useful in this style of MP as they require precise party coordination. The Hunter is shown with both dagger and bow, and we know that MP characters have two skill trees, so my guess is he is proficient in both melee and ranged combat but a master of neither. So far the rouges are the melee focused Assassin, the ranged Archer, the Alchemist who uses daggers and most likely grenades based on her card, so a versatile dagger/archery character is a distinct possibility.

I heard you couldn't swap weapons in combat, so wouldn't that make a dagger/archery character useless?

Archer. If only because it doesn't look exciting, therefore I theorize it will have some hidden awesomeness that makes it worth having.

Weren't archers very awesome in DA:2 compared to DA:O?

DA2 Archery had more flashy animations, making it seem 'awesome' compared to DA:O

Archery looks significantly better in DA:I. And that's based off the basic attack animations / speed. The bows as well look more realistic compared to the huge models in DA2 that use to make me squirm.

Definitely will be my first play through class.

Looking forward STILL to trying out the Reaver first. I like playing Warriors generally. I will likely try to get at the Reaver as soon as possible. Otherwise, it would be Templar. I have no interest playing as a Legionaire, but that is do to my dislike of Fantasy Dwarves. I just don't like rolling with those guys at all.

Kata is used to relate with death or the end of something. Ari denotes an individual. Rough translation is more like death dealer, or something similar. So my guess would be on "Executioner."

Name aside though, I am insterested in playing Katari when I use a warrior. Maybe alchemist for rogue. And either elementalist or arcane warrior from the mages.
