Hmm..Depends on what character I'm playing.
As a Human Noble:
1. Obviously it's Howe. That guy just has slimy and betrayer written all over him from the get go. My human nobles were only polite to his face, since "daddy" was standing right next to them and being polite and well spoken are supposed to be signs of a goodly educated noble, blah, blah. Secretly, they all want to get the hell away from him at the first moment's notice.
2. Logain. The man allowed and went along with what was probably Howe's original suggestion to terminate the Cousland family, sacrificed all but two of Ferelden's Grey Wardens and half the standing army as well as his best friend's son and his King..anyway, you all know this traitor's story. Off with his head.
As a City Elf:
1. Vaughn. He uses his authority and power to rape whatever woman he chooses. Speaking as a man, myself, I can't abide rape, and there's a part of me that knows it would take a great deal of pleasure in having rapists tortured..Fortunately, I've never been in the position to indulge that part of me.
2. ...Really, that's all, as a City Elf. There's plenty of people to be disgusted by, but that's it for hate.
Dalish:
1. ..Not really hating on anyone, but enormously disappointed in Zathrian. Not, that he would wish a curse prolonged for what was done to his children, no. Dalish spend a good deal of time repeating and instilling a sense of betrayal and distrust towards humanity for actions done centuries ago, after all. They live with their near-or-outright-hatred all their lives. No, it's that he chose to not put aside his hatred for the good of his people, when they started to suffer from a curse of his own making. Harm to humans, that can be looked over. But harm to his own clan and tribe? Betrayer!
Mage:
1. Hmm..No real hate towards anyone, but a load of hurt feelings and resentment. I've only played elvish mages, so far. A) First, for the most part, they're played as if even in the tower, they were treated as an "elf" by a good many of it's inhabitants. The Mage Warden is a prodigy, very talented, and quite possibly the apprentice to the First Enchanter himself. Lots of reasons for others to be jealous and resentful, and since their an elf, even more reason to "take them down a notch" and "put them in their proper place."

I think of Jowan as being one of the few that never raised a comment about them being an elf, and was their friend from the beginning. That he ends up using the Mage Warden as a bag holder, lied to them, and, best of all, never invited them in on the secret Blood Magic lessons..it's a good deal of hurt and resentment built up over that. If the Mage Warden is female, I like imagining a bit of a crush got squashed, when he told her about having met a girl. C) The Tower it's self. They want out. It's their only home they've ever know, there have been good times, but it's also a place of fear (templars, everywhere), repression and after Jowan bugs out, a lingering sense of betrayal and pain. Get out of Dodge while you can.
..After all this, I'm still thinking up who my Wardens, through RP, end up liking and hating, and their reasons behind them.
..I just love story driven RPGs. Really, I do.
