Howe classifies as a "complete monster". I'm looking forward to my human noble playthrough (started it, but completed two others first). I'm playing the german version, so i didn't know until know he is voiced by Tim Curry, but he is the perfect guy for this.

I also hate Vaughn with a passion and Branka's deeds are not forgivable.

Loghain, Anora, and Goldana i strongly dislike, but i wouldn't say i outright hate them. Of the companions i somewhat dislike Sten. This incompetent loser has the nerve this critizise me. I don't get him out of his cage anymore. Morrigan's attidue gets on my nerve sometimes too, but now we are far away from hate. One last mention: Leske. Not outright hate, but i never was so disappointed of a character.

Sten. Can't stand him. I free him but ignore him in Camp. His attitude I find really annoying. He's not even grateful for being set free. He comes across more as being a member of the Mafia than a Grey Warden.

Howe. He's the only character I wanted to kick when down and keep on kicking until he was unrecognizable. The sick feeling I got when he said he made my mother kiss his feet was equal only to the sick feeling I had when Alistair left me at the landsmeet....
