Wow....

 

Yeah go play destiny the bare bones, watered down game that takes no time to hit max level and then you can play mindlessly for light levels as you watch people that do 1 run get the best stuff.  Check out the pvp...just be sure to take a shotgun.

 

It will be funner than Last of Us.........

 

I mean if that is what people prefer then cool, but I now know I will never come here for gaming advice.

 

I would like to know how many of these people have even played Last of Us.  I would put a lot of money on most of them being a no.  It's painfully obvious in some of the replies. How many even know LOU has a MP.....lol.

Sony exclusives are best bought after they go Greatest Hits, on the cheap, and in bundles.

People will still be talking about Last of Us in 10 years. Obviously the original question is no longer relevant, but if forced to choose between those two games, I'd go with TLoU. It is going to be a part of video game history. It is extremely doubtful that people will be talking about Destiny in 10 years, except perhaps as a cautionary tale against believing pre-release marketing.

 

Even the people I know who play Destiny very regularly do not speak of the game with high praise. I'm not saying they slam it as a terrible game, they appreciate it, and think it was well made. But for them, the reason they play it is to play a shooter with friends. It does serve that purpose well. The story is almost universally panned, but I don't think people play games like Destiny for the story, anyway.

 

But, as it is now 2015, there's no reason not to get both.
