Miranda too heavy and should lose 40lbs?!?
My other half has a fairly similar build to her (especially in the chesticle department) and there is no bloody way miranda can be any lighter.
Given her strength, height and 13yr old boy fan service she has to be heavier.

The models presented during gameplay are at fixed sizes for convenience, and they all are at similar heights for animation and rigging purposes.  During cutscenes or dialogue, especially when the focus is a specific character they have a subtle and sometime not-so subtle difference in size.  The first time you see Wrex in the C-Sec headquarters, he looks massive because he is supposed to be.  Compare him to Grunt, who almost lacks a hump, and they end up being nearly the same height.

 

Quarians are supposed to be shorter than humans, but they end being the same height.  You could argue it would be the suits, but it still seems off if you go by the codex, which the game rarely does itself. 

 

I pretend turians are roughly 7', and the average krogan is 8' with Wrex being 9' considering his status and age.

Liara is slightly taller than female human characters. I assume the same is probably true with Samara.

Tali is 1,72 m = 5 ft 7.7 in, according to her character chart from ME2.

Thanks for the reply guys. If thats official-ish, Ill use Tali as the anchor point and work my way from there.

I did browse thru the height list from the 'writeup' site before I posted here but noticed that the info there  wasnt official and was just some other person's estimates when I saw Tali just being 5'5. 

Im using the 5 figures from Play Arts Kai as base, althou having said that, their scale is still a pain in the ass when MaleShep is listed as shorter than FemShep. >.< I decided to just not be anal about precise measurements and just wing it lol. As long as Jack is the smallest of the bunch and Garrus towers everyone, Im good.

I know they all use the same body model, but I always thought Shepard, like Vanderloo, is about 6'3"ish. Femshep.... She's pretty tall to probably at least 5'10"ish. 

 

Garrus is tall. I think he's taller than Sheploo, so I'd say around 6'6"ish. 

 

Wrex and Grunt are big too, over 7 feet for both of them. 

 

ps. Shepard 2.0 both femshep and male shep. Are "heavy" or just "jacked" not just muscle mass but because it's very obvious Shep 2.0 bones structure and density is augmented way more that the "average human". I say 6'3" male shep is probably at least 250 pounds. 5"10' femshep is probably like close to 180. 

 

Shepard is abnormally strong and probably nearly as strong as Wrex or maybe Grunt. 

 

I bet Shep squats over 1000 pounds and probably benches 3 times his body weight, lol.

Any weight is purely fanfiction in the end, at least for non-humans (and especially quarians) there is no way to tell since they do not have human bodies and you do not have a weight:size ratio for me-non-humans to get an approximation.

Tali looks surprisingly tall in some of the cutscenes, she gives the impression most of the time of being fairly short (as do all quarians). Always felt turians are taller than humans on average although possibly light for their size if they take the bird thing too far.

I take in-game height as canon. Krogans aren't that much taller than humans...

Yesterday, I realized EDI looks taller than femShep, almost the same height with Garrus (I took the two to a mission). But at the time, I didn't think about the heels. Then I found this thread.
It may also be the reason why Miranda looks taller than femShep too, the heels. Though I never thought of Samara being taller than her; even with the heels. 
I always thought Tali as the shortest of all the crew from all the trilogy.
Also, I find it very thoughtful on the developers part that femShep doesn't wear any kind of heels.
