The way I see it potential teammates should know the worst about each other so let's get to know everyone.

My name is [REDACTED]. I'm a sports nut. I read books on occasion. I can be a very enthusiastic with my reactions especially when playing games. I yell at TV quite a bit.

I came to Dragon Age through Mass Effect. Loved Mass Effect, heard good things about DAO so when it was offered to me for free I said "Hell yeah!" I played it over and over and over on my poor laptop. I don't have a large library of games that I play but the ones I do play I'm passionate about and will play over and over again. I've recently started going back and playing games from my childhood like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, and Super Smash Bros.

When I'm not slaying dragons or saving the galaxy I enjoy playing the piano. I've been pretending to do that for over a decade now and sometimes make piano covers on YouTube. I also like to carve pumpkins, been doing that for a few years. I can't draw anything with a pencil but I can do a decent  job with a knife. I was actually relieved when DAI was pushed back to November so I could focus on carving pumpkins. I have some DAI pumpkins planned for this season. (Pumpkins I've carved)

What about you lot? What are some of your hobbies? Write a little something about yourselves. Favourite food, restaurant, band, movie, etc. Don't be shy!

Greeting Mr. Redacted! That also is my name. Go figure.

Married dude with kids, working in the Corporate grind. I enjoy all sorts of distractions, including hiking, biking camping with my kids (The wife does not like to camp...) and so on. Video games is one of my favorite distractions.

I have played video games since the day I got my first Atari when I was in 7th grade! I have preferred Fantasy RPGs and have played them over and over through the years. I have migrated from a PC gamer to a Console gamer a few years ago mainly for comfort.

I originally started trying out MP games to play with my son and close friends, but these days, I play with just about anyone.

Ah, what a nice idea for a thread. Following the lead of the OP, then...

I'm in my early-to-mid 20s, working part time and going to school part time when I can. I play a lot of video games, more than I probably should, but it's my main hobby and I've been playing them all my life (first games were Sonic and Mario, like most people my age, then moved onto Zelda and Final Fantasy).

I came to Dragon Age simply because it was a new Bioware game at the time. I've been following them ever since Knights of the Old Republic on the original Xbox so it was only natural I picked up Dragon Age when it came out. I don't play many MP games, ME3 was pretty much the main one for me, but I'm hoping to play a lot of DAMP.

I'm 23, I do not work as I am physically handicapped. I spend a lot of time reading, writing, watching anime, and playing video games. I have been playing video games since before I was two (no joke). Which all started with duck hunt with my dad and my grandma showing me her atari. I normally stick to single player with the exception of a few games. I play mostly RPG style games, but I have been known to play shooters, action adventure, etc, RPG's always remain my favorite genre though.

My name is, unsurprisingly, Jeff. Turned 27 this month. I'm a full-time Cultural Anthropology student living in Central Florida at the moment. I love pretty much anything cultural, so I guess I chose the right major. I also love cats, space heroes, slaying dragons, hiking, traveling, fencing, writing, singing, gaming. Thankfully, BioWare has offered me a chance to express several of these passions in convenient video game format. (Granted, I've never actually slain a dragon, regardless.)

I've gamed off and on since I was a child, but I missed most of the big stuff from the time I was about 12 to 19 for various reasons, so I've had fun catching up on the PS2 generation. My franchise passions are Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy (although it's been eight years since an installment has dropped that I've remotely enjoyed), The Legend of Zelda (mainly the 3D installments), Metal Gear, Uncharted, and, to a casual extent, Pokemon. I also enjoy Smash so long as it's with friends who are occupying the same room as me at the time, not the online variety.

Can't guarantee I'll do the multiplayer much because I'm not a multiplayer-centric gamer at all, but I joined so that my relatively little time spent online will be with BSN friends. That always helped for the brief spurts in which I dabbled in ME3 MP, after all.

Howdy, friends. :)

I'm Rebekah, wife, mom and lifelong gamer. I'm currently 40 and my first game was Pong when I was a little girl! I have a whole bunch of kids and have raised them on games from when they were small. Now I go to midnight releases with my teenagers which is really fun.

I mostly tend towards anything RPG or with RPG elements to it. My favorite franchise of all time is the Dragon Age series. I also love Bethesda's Elder Scolls games, and Mass Effect is another favorite. I never really got into MP until ME3, and then I turned into a serious addict, sinking close to 1,000 hours in it. I'm sure DAMP will be the same, as I just love the way BioWare does multiplayer.

As to other things I enjoy, travelling to other countries is at the top of my list. I love to read, watch fantasy and period films (from LOTR to Jane Austen) and spend time with family and friends.

Looking forward to playing with some of you in the future!

I'm Tiffany. I'm 29 years old, married for seven years come October, no kids but we have lots of fur children (three dogs, two cats, and one recently-adopted feral kitten that was found at hubby's workplace). I work at a newspaper in northeast Florida in both advertising and marketing.

I love video games and have played them ever since my Dad first taught me on his Atari 2600 when I was 5 or 6 years old. I camw to BioWare through DAO first. I was browsing the used games section of my local GameStop and saw DAO. I was really big into Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion at the time, so I was hunting for more RPGs. I passed by on DAO a few times, actually, because I was worried I'd hate fighting in a party (I preferred being a loner in Bethesda games). But I finally relented and gave it a shot... and regretted waiting so long! I then went to Mass Effect after that because I needed more BioWare in my life, and so I've been playing DA and ME since around 2010. I spent a LOT of time on ME3 MP, primarily on PS3 but also eventually expanding to PC and XBox 360. I participated in every weekend challenge I could (PS3 missed the first three challenges due to events outside our control) and even after I earned my own challenge reward, I kept playing a lot trying to help as many people as I could earn their rewards as well. :)

Other hobbies include reading, writing (I'm another one of those folks working on a lifelong novel that seems to never get finished, but I still enjoying the doing part and the journey, so meh), and watching college (American) football. I'm a huge Florida Gators fan, so you likely won't see me online on Saturdays again until after December, as football just kicked off this past weekend. LOL So, I'll be available Friday nights and Sundays for weekend challenges. Fortunately, with DAI pushed back until late November, that means football season will start winding down, so more time for DAMP!

As far as things to warn you about, well, I'm very much a tomboy and "one of the guys". With that means I have picked up a bit of a potty mouth, it seems, so there's definitely moments in games where I might curse a bit (a lot) and my humor can be rather sophomoric at times (I'll call a Banshee a b*tch, for example, which people either find hilarious or offensive). I'm also a big fan of innuendo and double entendres, so "That's what she said" and other gems are fairly common with me. If that's something you find offensive or if you have kids around and your chat audio coming out of your TV instead of your headset, just warn me ahead of time and I can be good and behave myself. Mostly. :)

My name's Filip,, 24. I come from Poland and (temporarily) live and study CS in Oslo, Norway. Video games - and especially cRPGs - were always one of my favorite ways to entertain myself. As many young men in my country I was introduced to gaming by titles like Baldurs Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Fallout 1/2 etc, and these games influence my expectations from an RPG to this day.

I enjoy art in all forms, I'm an avid reader (currently trying to catch up on classic novels, I loved all the Steinbeck I read this year), I love watching fine movies and I'm especially fond of animated ones (I watch them all). Recently the thing I like the most are board games, which I can discuss and play for long hours, and I'm lucky enough to have a beautiful girlfriend who shares this passion (and often kicks my butt in them).

I like to doodle a lot and I even have a bit of talent. I enjoy sitting in Photoshop and Illustrator (not so much recently :(). One of the greatest days of 2013 for me was the day when the new ME3MP banners were introduced and my project was among the winning ones (I like to mention it a lot, it really felt good, even if it's just a stupid banner).

I also like joking a lot, especially on the internet, so you shouldn't take anything I write seriously. I don't like offending people and it's never my intention and I love making people laugh. When I get the joke right, I swell with pride. Back in my country I even started a comedy group with my friends (we perform on stage and we're getting better with each performance).

I am lucky to know my dreams; after I finish studies I wish to get into game development, so I'm starting to learn it this month. This week even. My all-time favorite game is "Sacrifice" (it's awesome, you can get it on GOG, so grab it when they have another 80% discount on this one) and I wish that on one day I would be able to make a sequel/spiritual successor happen.

As for DAMP I will be playing it because of my good experiences with ME3MP, which I loved with all my heart.

So, that's me.

My name's Bill; I'm a 27 year old bachelor living in Philly. I have a degree in Philosophy and work for a production company managing their website and various other affairs.

I grew up on Sonic, then Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, and various Square titles on Playstation 1. From there I've been a Sony gamer and enjoy most genres of games. When I'm not playing Dragon Age you'll probably be baffled seeing the combination of games I play on the PSN; right now I'm switching between Battlefield 4 and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. But BioWare has been my favorite dev for quite awhile now, with my first game from them being Knights of the Old Republic. Back when that was released, you really didn't see much story customization in console games, especially in JRPGs. The story was the story, and you were along for the ride. This meant that when KOTOR came along it blew my mind: I can go Dark Side? Romance Bastila? Tell people to go **** themselves?! What is this gloriousness?

My multiplayer background centers on playing Final Fantasy XI for about 7 years, then shorter stints of Guild Wars 2 and a Realm Reborn. I've also played a lot of Battlefield the last few years. I played a fair amount of ME3 MP but mostly kept to low-key silver matches; never really did any of the challenges and such. I've always enjoyed party dynamics with roles as you can see from my MMO and Battlefield backgrounds, so I'm much more excited for DAMP than I was for ME3's MP (which was still great!).

Despite all this I have a pretty casual attitude when it comes to MP games; I like drinking while I play and am much more likely to laugh off someone's screw ups (including my own) then get frustrated or angry. Accordingly I'll probably be playing with a mix of hardcore and casual MPers for Dragon Age.

See you in November!

Salutations. My name is (perhaps obviously) Vice Versa Man. If you prefer, you can call me "V," "VV," "VVM," "VM," "Vice," "Vice Versa," "Versa," "Versa Man," "Man," "Dude," "Bro," "Dudebro," "Mon Capitaine," "His Right Honourable Lord the Ex-Minister of Outer Shpongolia," or any variation thereof.

I'm a founding member of the Committee for Anti-Villain Activity (also known as CAVA), the 19th most highly accredited superhero team in the Central Texas area (just behind the Mighty Morphin' Mormons and the Titanic Toddler Trio). Our roster of awards include the second place trophy in the 2009 Williamson County Fair Three-Legged Race, as well as the perfect attendance ribbon for the 2011 Regional Grammar Rodeo, so I should say our credentials speak for themselves.

I'm fairly certain that I used to have a secret identity, but it's been so long since I've used it that I can no longer seem to recall it. If I had to guess, I would peg my age somewhere around 30 human years, but the effects of retrograde temporal displacement shifts make it difficult to pin down. I possess an abnormally large head and feet, but my doctor has assured me that this is not the result of an underlying medical condition.

My hobbies include video games, brooding, using situationally inappropriate emoticons  , alcoholism, filing fraudulent census reports, potent hallucinogens, lurking ominously in the periphery of assorted internet forums, inventing obscenities (shigniffle!), muppeteering, analyzing the collected works of Paul Verhoeven, crying myself to sleep, and decoupage.

My pet peeves include mismatched socks, people who don't rewind their DVDs before returning them to Netflix, being accused of answering personal questions online in a deflective/absurd manner, and the color red.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and playing the Dragon Ages Inquisition video game alongside you!

Hi! I'm Tetra. I started off as a lurker in the MEMP forums, but then made my way to the DAI twitter thread. I feel like the BSN has become a much friendlier place, which has prompted me to actually start posting occasionally.

I also came to dragon age through Mass Effect. I like DA a lot (especially Hawke), but high fantasy will never hit the same spot for me as the holy trinity of space, cyborgs and sniper rifles. (Dark dystopian futures are kind of my jam, I guess.)

That said, I am SO EXCITED for DAMP, and totally willing to play with anyone who will have me on their team. I'm also playing Destiny, so feel free to join me there as well (ps4, tetrahedrals).

In real life I am in my late twenties, live in Brooklyn, and spend my time studying, baking pies, writing, and occiasionally shooting people in the face on my new ps4.

Cheers everyone, and looking forward to playing!

Hi, my name is LightningPoodle (you aren't getting my real name so just call me LightningPoodle), I am a guy, I am 19, I am currently doing a Graphic Design Degree and I am apathetic. Seriously, I show no emotion or enthusiasm whatsoever.

I play a wide range of games from loads of genres, except sport games. My favourite game series has to be Mass Effect, though I equally enjoy games like Halo, Battlefield, The Witcher, and of course, Dragon Age. I currently have a PS4 however, my gaming has spanned into PC with games like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, League of Legends and Dota 2. When I play games, I play to win. In FPS games, I am usually at the top of my teams scoreboard - I'm not trying to show off. In RPGs, I am a completionist. I go for the best gear, I work to complete every quest no matter how big or small. I usually know what I'm talking about when it comes story, tactics or general lore in any game I have spent enough time playing on so if you ever need something sorted out, I am generally capable of helping.

In my spare time when not playing games, I am reading, drawing, doing some graphic thing or watching TV (it's usually that last one). The books I read are YA (young adult) such as The Hunger Games. I also read books like A Song of Ice and Fire and The Lord of the Rings. TV shows include Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Gotham, Arrow, The Flash and Marvel: Agents of Shield (so generally superhero stuff).

So, if anyone wants to get to know me a bit better before DA:I releases and we're all swamped into multiplayer matches, one after another. Send me a message or reply to this or whatever. I'll get back to you.

Hey, I'm a relative noob to ME and DA (especially DA) since I didn't get into ME until after hearing about the uproar about ME3's ending, eventually getting ME2 in around mid-June 2012.  I got into ME3 MP a couple months after getting ME3 and I was hooked on it, eventually putting in over 500 hours in just the MP alone.  Not to mention my 13 playthroughs of ME itself, totaling to over 2000 hours into the entire series, MP included.  I've actually put so much time and effort into ME3 MP that I've gotten all the characters and all but 3 of the weapons.  I've gotten to the point where I got an invite to the Premium Spectre group for the MP.  I managed to consistently outscore entire lobbies on silver and gold with PUGs of varying N7's and Trophy Points.

As for DA itself, I didn't start playing it until almost a year ago after I started getting bored with ME.  I decided I should grab another RPG series to focus on and I had heard about DA on the ME forums from time to time, so I decided to try it out.  Haven't really been able to put it down since, much like with ME (got both TLOU and ACIII during my time playing ME3 and I didn't even touch them until a couple months after getting them).  I'm really hyped for DA:I and I really want to try out DA MP.

When I'm not playing DA or ME, I play some COD: Black Ops 1 & 2 multi and Zombies, some GTA Online, Skyrim, or I listen to Linkin Park while I work on my fanfics.  I do like to read and when I find a good book I'll try to not stop reading it until I finish and I'll be sure to recommend it.

I'm 18 and I'm a console peasant and proud of it!   :D

Feel free to toss me a friend request through PSN, but be sure to mention the group in your friend request.  I'm sticking with my trusty PS3 and my PSN ID is in my sig.

So you're not a noob because you sound like you know your s***.

I too listen to Linkin Park. They are (but are slowly became a pain to listen too) my favourite band. I loved every album except the newest one "The Hunting Party" which has some really weak songs on there.

Anyway, nice to meet you. Are you planning on sticking with the PS3 or will you be upgrading at some point in the near future?

Well, compared to some people on BSN, I could be considered a noob.  Mostly for DA, though.

Yeah, Linkin Park is my favorite band too.  Haven't really been listening to much of their newer stuff.  I prefer their older stuff: Meteora, Hybrid Theory, Living Things, etc.  Reanimation has to be my second favorite album, Meteora being my favorite overall.

As of right now, I'm sticking with my PS3.  It's mostly due to money issues, but I will probably make the jump to PS4 eventually.  Not really sure when, though.

Hi all,
I'm me. Have enjoyed playing video games since I was a wee one and typically only own no more than 7 games per console generation. I play a lot more but very few earn my $. My favourite and by far most played games are RPG's and have "been" w Bio games since KOTOR. DA has by far been my most liked "world" and enthusiastically support and publisher, person, cause, where LGBT equality is promoted/respected. I started out on PC's but went to Nintendo and have been back to PC gaming rarely...until now maybe. I've preordered DAI on all systems except 360 because this will be the first new release game that I've purchased since ME3 and want to read the reviews before I decide which one(s) to keep. I've resisted multiplayer for years since I prefer solo play but after discovering the fun from multi in ME3, I intend to enjoy the heck out of this.

Wow I feel hella young.

Anyways I'm John, A 15 year-old (fairly mature) African-Canadian "gifted" student.

I was born in Uganda and my family moved to Canada when I was 2 so I am mainly just Canadian and when I was 5? (not sure) I got my first gaming console. My first console was the PS1 and since then I have had everything PlayStation and also a gameboy advanced and a Wii.

My hobbies include Rugby, Soccer, and Biking. I like Rap, Dubstep, Electronic and Rock music and I usually listen to it while playing PS4s in parties thanks to firmware 2.00

I think I have a good sense of humour and I have lots of highs and lows when it comes to gaming; Sometimes I am extremely enthusiastic and yell at the TV, sometimes I might just go completely silent.

I am a decent strategist and can either lead or gladly follow orders whatever is necessary.

And lastly I cannot wait for DAI and I'm getting so damn impatient.

I'm a middle-aged gamer from the middle of nowhere, Appalachia, who has recently (<5 years ago) been transplanted into the great frozen Midwest of the USA.  It's flat here.  And cold.  And people speak with a nasally, northern accent and talk about "hawt deesh" and have no clue what I mean when I speak of "Jack Tales."

Mom and Dad hooked me on board and card games before I started school then I discovered pen-and-paper rpgs a few years after that (about ~20 years ago now).  I've been playing Bioware rpgs since Baldur's Gate.  Jade Empire was probably my favorite, but I've also played DA:O more times than I really ought to admit and we won't even talk about the time I put into NWN.  I did quite a bit of super-casual ME3 co-op, but never settled on a class.  (The Krogan Warlord rocks, but so do several of the adepts and almost all the infiltrators...)  In other online games, I tend to either snipe or support.  (I love tanking when I have a game I can tank in.)  I really do play things that aren't rpgs, it's just that my non-rpg interests are scattered all over so I can't really say "I like [x genre] second-best!"

My tabletop rpg group is currently infatuated with D&D 5E, but we generally bounce between Serenity, oWoD and Pathfinder.  I have a soft spot for Changeling: the Dreaming, barbarians, warforged and Ravenloft. (Someday, I am going to run an oWoD/Ravenloft crossover.  Watch me and see if I don't.)  My favorite board game is probably Volcano (with Looney Labs pyramids) but I adore the GoT board game when I can round up more than three players.

I like tea and tatting (an old-fasioned way to make lace, not tattoos) and baking.  Sometimes I draw.  Once in a blue moon I sew something.  I read less than I used to, but still lots.  Currently going back through Asimov's robot novels and I have Mr. Midshipman Hornblower queue'd up to read next.  (Unless by some miracle the next SoIaF book comes out before then, then everything else goes on hold.)  My taste in music is all over.  I have two cats.  I used to have ferrets.  Someday, I want at least one tarantula.  I have several Sony consoles, including a Vita (did all my ME3 on PS3) and a couple old Nintendo consoles.

Have I talked enough yet? lol

Hello hello.

I am a woman in Asia, advocate/research in public law and justice (which is righteous! and hard!), and am involved in many things that can leave me mentally and emotionally taxed. I stay sane by knitting, kick-boxing and taiqi, reading, and playing games.

I used to mostly play strategy and sim games. Some years back, my partner had me play Mass Effect concurrently with his game. I thought it fine enough for time diversion, but it crashed constantly, had some awful infodumps I associate with bad scifi, and fetch quests that exacerbated my completionitis, and it did not leave me with a positive impression. A year or two later, partner procured used copies of the sequel along with DA:O, and after several months we started it.

DA:O had so many issues, but it was playable. The story was a bit simple and well-trodden, but some of the political aspects made up for it. I am glad that I chose the mage origin, as I would have probably rage quit had I chosen the city elf -- or had watched my partner when he played that origin. I greatly enjoyed DA:O:A, and I tremendously enjoyed DA2 (save the Sebastian and MotA DLCs), so I am trepidious about DA:I. However, I did enjoy MEMP despite hating ME3, and still play regularly, so I suspect that even if I am less than happy with the campaign of DA:I, I will enjoy DAMP. :)

Hi, I'm Debby, probably the oldest gamer here, but still can kick some butt so don't get any ideas!  Been playing RPG's for more years than I care to remember.  I tried to branch out to war games, shooters, sims, etc, but I always come back to RPG's.  It's the fantasy of them and totally losing myself in the characters and stories that I like (I'm disabled so RL kinda suxs).  Dragon Age is my all time favorite, with Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls coming in at the top of my list.  Was a little disappointed with DA2 but I still played the heck out of it!  Been itching to get my hands on DA3 for years now!  Played a little ME3MP but I came in really late to it (never played MP's before) and feel like everyone is so much better and been playing so much longer than me that I get frustrated with myself (not anyone else).  I'm not going to make that mistake with DAMP!  I'll be in there swords flashing at the very start!

Lets see......I'm a veteran, served in the USAF, my 2 posts being Florida and Germany (yeah I was lucky in my assignments).  Bred, showed, and raised my beautiful Scottish Terriers until I was no longer able to walk around the show ring.  I still have 3, 2 Champions and a Grand-Champion.  I never had children of my own so these are my babies!  Sang and toured professionally for many years (back in the day!) won several music awards and got to rub elbows with the stars for a while (fun!).  Love to create art of any kind, my latest being my own line of Scottish Terrier jewelry that I sell on Etsy.

I play on my PC, Mountain time, and go by truscotty on Origins and truscotty2 on Steam.  Feel free to add me as a friend or message me, I'm online most of the time and would love to hear from you!

I am a crazy Oregonian woman, been playing games since I was five years old and I am 32.  My first game ever was Final Fantasy which endeared me to RPG's and I have loved them ever since.  The franchise still holds a special place for me even though Mass Effect beat it out for being my favorite franchise.  With that being said I am a huge Mass Effect fan, I even have a N7 tattoo on my forearm with the Paragon and Renegade symbols.  Following that is the Dragon Age franchise which im trying to decide what I want tattooed from that.

I am a avid gamer on pretty much all the consoles PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.  I am a Sci Fi and Fantasy geek, a MMO player.  I use to test games for Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade which once you do that it gives you a really unique insight on how games are made and what developers have to go through in order to get games out the doors.  It also sadly drives you batty if you run into a bug you know shouldn't have passed certification.  I do 3d Art using Poser and Daz3d, and Bryce.

Other games that I would say are my favorite that I can play over and over are Chrono Trigger, Dark Souls franchise, Terraria, Civilization, Resident Evil franchise, Dead Space franchise, the list really goes on and on.

Hi everyone. My name is Guilherme, 23 years old guy from Brazil, since 8 playing games. I gratuated in Foreing Relations and I'm currently working with importing. Started gaming with Donkey Kong and Super Mario on Super NES and have been on the road since.

From some years I dedicated my gaming to rts (love the Total War Series), rpgs (Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, Mass Effect - although it's more a tps-, The Witcher and many others) and all the cool games I can find.

My other hobbies are cooking, knife sharpening (because I need sharp tools to cook lol ) and reading.
