Just wonderd where it is based or where you think Skyhold is i think it is ither based in Frostback Mountains or on the tip or Gamordan Peaks (the tip is between the Dales and Orlais) . I only ask because i have a map of Thedas and would like to find & maybe mark its location.
Where is Skyhold based in Thedas

Yea it looks like its almost near where the red templars were maybe that's just me.

The Dales border on the Frostbacks, and that western side of the Frostbacks also where the urn of Sacred Ashes is, and it's smack-dab in the middle of the two maps.
Also, it looks like I imagine Kell ap Morgan's village-fortress from The Calling, which was also supposed to be in the Frostbacks. It seems the most logical place. Plus, Skyhold makes me think of the Lady of the Skies, the goddess of the Avvar barbarians who make their home in those mountains. I kind of wondered if the Avvar quest in that Gamescom isn't related to Skyhold in some way...?
