I am curious if there is any info on whether it's possible to form a team or a guild, besides the own friends list -- a group of people that play on a regular basis together and form group strategies together.

I would love to find a group of regular multiplayers with whom I can chat, discuss and play at the same time. It's just more fun than playing solely with strangers who you meet for 20 minutes and afterwards, it's over.
I don't need big team levels or team rewards (though it would be nice), but having a way of socializing outside of the current group makes multiplay even cooler.

makes sense, not sure if they are going to do it. there was no reason to not have it in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer and they didn't put one in, but maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised by Inquisitions multiplayer and they will have a guild system.

I can see that as a pro and con. Mostly from personal experience in guilds people end up becoming way to... demanding is the only non-curse word I can think of xD. I can see it mostly going well though especially if it is people you already play with on a regular basis, but normally when it is a random guild it can tend to go south.
