Looks confusing to me and I am not sure I like the graphics so far.
Came across as the complete opposite to me. The art looks great and the options are laid out nice and clear by the looks of it.
How it looks isn't all that important so long as it does it's job.

Well, it doesn't really look clear per se. It looks like a jumble of tiles within tiles and it seems like it might be easy to overlook one of them and forget to fill out a bunch of decisions.

Will the keep be translated into other languages, like german? Including the narrated video?

Do you know how the synchronization works (or doesn't) when the account has multiple profiles? This will need to be done whether your heroes are present on the BSN or not. Having your heroes uploaded will allow you to select them in the Keep, but there is no direct importing of savegame plot data at this time. Choices will need to be set by either using the interactive movie, accepting the defaults, or selecting them yourself in the Tapestry.
The EA servers went wild last year, and I ended up with something like 5 or 10 profiles (I guess it would create a new one each time I logged in), and only one of them is used by the games now (the original profile that was created when I registered and first started playing the games is empty now, and the games don't upload to it anymore). Can we set the profile it tries to sync our Origins and DA2 data from (or does the Keep automatically parse them all)?

If you just use the tapestry then it might be possible to miss something or another, but they have said that you can instead build your world state through the interactive movie, and I imagine that the interactive movie will not miss any of the choices.

My concern with the movie would then be, sheesh, what's the running time of this thing? If the movie goes through ALL the choices (including some really mundane stuff that's shown in the tiles like Cammen and Gheyna or the Warden drinking Avernus' potion) then I really won't want to sit through it.
I'm not really worried about missing anything; the Keep might not even let you continue until all choices have been made. But I don't like the tapestry's organisation (or lack thereof) at all.

So basically if we don't have anything upload, I am doomed to use generic looking male mage warden and generic lookin malle warrior Hawke?
I mean how is this my world state when my heroes look never like they should.

The Keep is a website, not an app. You should be able to use it on the PC without issue.

There is a movie too? Dang how much are you guys putting into this? This almost sounds like a visual novel now. XD

I believe in the Q&A it was said that the movie would just pertain to the major choices that were made - not all choices.

I guess the NDA i still in effect, but I'm curious how they will handle DAA events if the Warden died as US.

Well, if the Warden does the ultimate sacrifice in DAO, the smart system will cause the Orlesian Warden to be the main character in DAA.
I'm not sure how this will be handled for character uploading reasons or whether limitations will make it so that the Orlesian Warden is a copy of the Warden's race, gender, and class.

While the 'story' part of the profile for DAO goes up to the end of the game, my profile for Awakening only holds the story part of the way through and doesn't cover Witch Hunt at all. The achievements do, though. What effect will this have and how can I resolve this (on PC) to get the profile to update?

I was concerned about this too, and the video doesn't do an amazing job of explaining it.
But in the Q&A at the end they make it clear that the Keep doesn't actually take anything from the story choices in your Origin profile.
It only pulls your Warden/Hawke's gender, race, and class - everything else needs to be set by the player. The movie will run and attempt to set a few of the major choices that happen in Origins and DA2, which you can adjust.
Then, you're taken to the Tapestry, which allows you to edit a bunch of the big choices from DAO and DA2. Depending on your Warden/Hawke's gender/race/class, some of these choices will be pre-chosen - but you're able to adjust everything.
If you want to go deeper, there's another section entirely that includes even more detail about sidequests, Warden/Hawke attributes, etc.

This is a nice clarification source on what effect importing a saved Warden/Hawke has on the Keep:

Basically you still need to select and make all the story choices.

So accessing the profiles doesn't really give you a shortcut to anything at all - it doesn't load any of those choices beyond the most basic ones. That's fair enough, then, and means I don't have to waste time seeing if I can update that BSN profile.
I can see setting everything up in the Keep taking aaaaaages ![]()

Yeah.
I just asked in the main Keep thread what the point of the profile import was, since it's not actually changing anything about the Keep process.
All I can think of is that it's a nice way to create the feeling that you're importing *your* Warden and Hawke, rather than recreating everything completely from scratch. At least this way it'll be associated with a real profile's name/class/race/gender, even if all the story stuff needs to be set again.

Quick question: If I played Origins and DA2 on PC while connected to my Origins account, but wanted to play DAI on, say, an Xbox One would it be possible to upload my previous characters to the Keep via PC, fix my world state there, then log into my Xbox One to play DAI? Apologies if this has been covered.

So, when you start up the Keep and log in with your Origin account, it can "pull through" the saved profiles from DA:O and DA2.
You'd still need to set all the choices and decisions manually, though. Then you designate that world state as your game one.
When you play DA:I on Xbox One, just log in to your Origin account and you'll be given the option to pull down the Keep worldstate when you start a new game. Hope that's clear!

The nice, clean, straight lines of jumbled tiles within jumbled tiles...
I didn't say it was a hopeless quagmire of woe and confusion. I said it wasn't clean.
Long story short:
Am I an idiot? No. Do I think I will have serious trouble navigating this thing? No.
Is it a clean, efficient, and logically organized menu? No.

Spoiler
By your screenshots, I see how some of the options are black and some are gray. Without watching the video again, I would guess that this indicates whether or not this decision has been set by the Keep user. Not saying it solves your issues with the tapestry layout, but it would certainly make it more difficult to overlook choices.

There's also the, uh, "story mode" thing that apparently takes you through all the decisions in (possibly user determined) order e.g. (for DAO) setup, prologue, Ostagar, Redcliffe (?) and then the other places in the order you choose, and then Landsmeet, battles and Archdemon, I would imagine. It looks like the Tapestry is for after one has done that, for tweaking, unless one chooses to do it all using the Tapestry.
