Call of the Dark Soul Dragon Age Watch Dog of Destiny 2's Ghost Duty: Unity will be the ME3MP killer.

The only end I see for ME3MP is either the servers shut down or a better MEMP. Funny thing is, I don't think everyone else quitting ME3MP will make me stop playing because I can always play solo.
I have yet to find a game that will totally prise me away from ME3MP's grip. I have tried everything to get me off ME3MP but "every time I try to leave something keeps pulling me back, me back" so I resigned myself to fate.

I wanted to address this question with fellow ME3MP players about DAMP.
do you think ME3MP will be ghost town when DAI comes out?
feel free to discuss about this topic.
It was the "DAI" that caught my eye and drew my attention to this thread. I thought it was a discussion about the Drell Assassin Infiltrator... ![]()

Drell Assassin versus Zevran. Now there's a fight I'd pay to see.
(I would've said Drell Assassins versus Antivan Crows...but all the available evidence from the previous two games is that Antivan Crows are scrubs with a highly overrated reputation)

I played DA and DA:O and really enjoyed it and bought DA2 based on that - what a f**kfest that was IMO. That did feel like hard work in fact I gave up halfway through. Have looked at the trailers for DA:I but now I have played Mass Effect I wouldn't go back to that style of play, I like biotic and tech powers too much.
And remember they did say titanfall would kill ME - it hasn't particularly. (And Yes, tried that and got bored with it).
There is just something about ME3MP That keeps you coming back for more despite all its little foibles and whatnot. I just hope that these issues will get resolved and they have learnt from the current game.

As long as they keep offering sales on the games and eventually the DLC, that will keep it going as well. I imagine that each time there's a sale on the games there's a decent spike in MP players. DLC sales probably wouldn't have as much of an impact, but still would probably increase the number of players significantly. Just gotta convince them to ditch the bloody Bioware Points system.

One upside of PC platform is that we aren't threatened by Destiny any time soon.
Never thought I'd say that.

If they increased the ultra-rare drop rate even by 50-100% there would be a surge of activity...

IDK that any one game is going to just kill ME3 if you don't already consider it dead. I have no idea of the numbers. I think DAI will pull a lot of bioware fans away from this game because it looks to be somewhat similar to ME3MP in some aspects which is something a lot of players are looking for and it is a bioware game which will pull the loyalists away as well. With other huge games like Destiny coming out it will cut into the playerbase as well but I don't know that the game will be truly dead until they cut the servers.

Depends on just how captivating DAI MP will be. I will be checking it out (pre-ordered!), but getting it mainly for the SP. Don't think it will have all the diversity of characters, weapons, powers, and kit combos that ME3MP has that makes it such a great game--so many different kits and ways to play. Destiny will divert some folks, DAI will divert some. Some will be back once again. If they get it right and ME4MP is a better (and hopefully more robust) version of ME3MP, that will probably do it. Would expect EA to pull the plug on the ME3MP servers sometime after ME4 releases. But, there is one thing DAI MP will never have that ME3MP has.....

That depends on the monocle eye of the beholder.
- not a simple horde mode
- party banter
- predefined characters with backstories
- lessons learned from ME3MP
setting aside (I prefer ME a few times more than DA) DAMP has more potential than MEMP. Or maybe - it has potential to be even greatrer than MEMP.

Yep, I didn't even know what Destiny was until recently.
Looks like some sort of Borderlands meets Mass Effect hybrid, in an mmo environment. Might be fun if it ever comes to PC, but I don't care much either way.

Yeah, I believe DA:I will be the proverbial nail-in-the-coffin this time around. I've always said it'll remain active until another BioWare title is released with a similarly-themed MP. And now that seems to finally be the case. I love the ME3 MP, but I'm also a huge DA fan. If the DA:I MP is as good as BioWare is hyping it up to be. Then yes, I'll finally put this game to rest. I think 1,200 hours, and two years of non-stop gaming has definitely been good to me. Hell, it's definitely paid for itself by this point. The ME3 MP experience more than made-up for the SP's lackluster campaign/endings, AND gave me a couple new friends to boot. All-in-all, we had a good ride. Nothing lasts forever, right?
I'm just happy that the multiplayer will continue to exist in future BioWare titles.

If the servers are running I'll occasionally pop in to ME3MP.
My UR's are half-maxed so I potentially have a few hundred hours yet to roll...
Destiny? First-Person games don't interest me.
Choice of ME3MP or DAI?
Assuming it doesn't suck, (surely please don't) it will be my new home.
But I will pop back occasionally.

First time in the store for a week or so and I noticed that when I was buying packs I was no longer being offered an option to buy/use Bioware Points it used credits immediately which speeds up buying 20 JEP a lot ![]()

Some of my best memory of ME3 involves CS.
Always thought of CS as a bizarro world Stardusk.
Anyhoo, I'd say yes it will impact some of ME3MP's dwindling player base, probably moreso than the other games mentioned because many of us that still play are Bioware oldguards. At a certain point enough people will leave and we'll lose that critical mass that let's us find lobbies. Once it becomes a real pain to log on and find a game, the final drop off of the player base will be quite precipitous. Does it happen in December? Would it have happened anyway? Eh, who knows. In the meantime, to all you stingy bitches hording consumables...
