My warden is a blood mage and most probably before his calling he'll seek the help of the Architect to accelerate the taint in his body so that he can become an immortal ghoul emissary and keep carrying on his magical researches on blood and taint magic for his own evil ends.
What has The Warden been doing all these years up until DA: Inquisition

I headcanon my Mage Warden being my Hawke under an alias.
Leliana showing up and gushing about her past love for the Warden while talking about how mages need to be oppressed was awkward for everyone.
:-)
But Mage Amell was in Fereldan while Hawke was in Kirkwall...

It's those damn Eluvians!
That and I just retconned Hawke's fleeing from the mini-Blight in Amaranthine.
Headcanon trumps all!

my Warden is doing Warden stuff he is still the Warden Commander and rules over Amaranthine
He is good friends with Nathaniel, visits King Alistair sometimes to advice him, has a relationship with Leliana
people do way too much headcanon and then they blame Bioware if their Warden isn't doing what they imagined in their head
go figure
there is of course the fact that he seems to have disappeared (No idea why he would) but we have Inquisition for that right?

Only a single one was unlocked and that was AFTER, note, after the blight was defeated and Hawke was already gone.
Head canon just confuses me when it doesn't even stick to the timeline.

The Eluvian was a joke about time-travel.

o-o Hence why i posted the Time Paradox picture.
Hawke cannot be in Fereldan being a Warden while simutinously be in Kirkwall doing things Hakwe did.

It's like Return of the Jedi.
"She's not with you."
"We got separated."
Thedas is a big place! It doesn't help those two aren't exactly known for leaving forwarding addresses.
:-)
Yeah, and I get that, but Leliana's involvement with the Chantry does kind of rub me the wrong way. What if your Warden romanced her but hated the Chantry and hardened her trying to make her anti Chantry?

She was never "anti chantry" you can Harden her to go back to her bardic mentalitry, or keep her adopted sister of the chantry mentality, but that is all.
She is still Andrastian, and still owes the Divine a great deal.

I'm not quite sure as to why my Warden vanished. I suppose she felt that her duties were done after saving the city and saying goodbye to Morrigan.
I think she'd certainly want to know why the love of her life Leliana went off without her though.
My thoughts exactly and for Zevran too. But Leliana's upsets me more because becoming one of the hands of the divine is a major commitment. Don't couples usually talk these things over?

That's exactly what happened with me. Which may give a reason why she's with the Chantry and not you or me.

Leliana Disapproves -10.
*More like Leliana draws bow and shoots you in the forehead*
She was willing to combat the PC over Andraste's ashes, she was willing to protect the revered mother in Lothering from the Warden, you think she wouldn't attempt to kill someone trying to bring down the institution that is the most important thing in her life?

My question for you is... if your Warden was friends with Justice and Anders, and even if they weren't, they were still under your authority. Wouldn't it make sense your Warden go and try to deal with Anders?

How do you mean, "deal?" I assume my Warden Commander let Anders resign from the Wardens, despite that being illegal.

I agree, but if your Warden was against the Chantry would she really get herself involved so much with it? Couples usually talk that kind of stuff out.

I'm inclined to think so, yes, because of the appalling coincidence that the Divine a.k.a Thedas Pope is the person who personally rescued her from sexual abuse and worse in Leliana's Song and needs the help of someone with Leliana's unique skill set. Not a lot of 20th level Bards running around. This isn't Leliana leaving you to go join a nebulous organization but someone she very deeply loves and respects as well as knows, again, personally.
I imagine it got ugly given my Mage Warden's opinions.

No matter what, this is only speculation, as all our Wardens made different choices, had different Origins, and different personalities in our eyes.
Thinking about this in a Bioware perspective they would never be able to completely tailor what the Warden was doing to a thousand different minuscule possibilities. Somewhere they are going to have to generalize what The Warden has been up to... of course your decisions should matter, but I bet there will be the same basic outline for most major choices. Ran off with Morrigan, died, became Commander, went traveling, is ruling, ect. I am wondering how they will explain all that and the Warden's lack of involvement in Kirkwall considering many of our Wardens would have gotten involved.

I'm okay with it, because in RL, we never get what we want all the time.
David Gaider says that the characters do what the characters do regardless of what we want because that's who they are.
Morrigan leaves with Old God BabyTM.
Leliana serves the Divine.
Alistair can't make a Dwarf Warden Queen.
