I'm inclined to think so, yes, because of the appalling coincidence that the Divine a.k.a Thedas Pope is the person who personally rescued her from sexual abuse and worse in Leliana's Song and needs the help of someone with Leliana's unique skill set. Not a lot of 20th level Bards running around. This isn't Leliana leaving you to go join a nebulous organization but someone she very deeply loves and respects as well as knows, again, personally.

I imagine it got ugly given my Mage Warden's opinions.

Lol. I wonder if Leliana's opinions on mages will be different from play throughs where the mage Warden loved her, or the anti mage warden sided with the templars, or she hated the mage Warden and he/she killed her, ect.

Headcanon may be stupid but it did make the Lost Prince DLC HILARIOUS.

Leliana: *in French accent she used to flirt with Warden* These VILE mages want to separate from the Chantry and will use any methods they can to separate from them.

Mage Warden Hawke: Uh...huh.

Leliana: *looks away guilty*

Someone should assemble a "The Warden is a ****" video like they did with Shepard.

What lyrium mountain?

Oh about a year or so into his reign, in a fit of lyrium withdrawal he sold Fereldan to King Bhelen for his next "fix" in this case, a literal mountain of lyrium.

He proceeded to jump into the mountain and hasn't been seen since.

Mariah Cousland, Queen of Ferelden, is planning doing her darnest to keep Ferelden together while working diligently to beat the odds and conceive a royal heir.

(King Alistair:  "Work, work, work.")

Whether or for how long she will be able to do this is, I suppose, up in the air until the events in DA:I unfold.

I'm okay with it, because in RL, we never get what we want all the time.

David Gaider says that the characters do what the characters do regardless of what we want because that's who they are.

Morrigan leaves with Old God BabyTM.

Leliana serves the Divine.

Alistair can't make a Dwarf Warden Queen.

Well he can't in the game.

But anyway I think that makes sense for Hawke, who-- with a few exceptions, was a pretty well defined character no matter how different you wanted him/her to be. Hawke is Hawke, but your Grey Warden was a blank slate-- a skin for you to put on, that was your character without a doubt. They would completely go against that?

The Old God Baby, I really wonder where that will go, I expect they can make that canon without it being too ludicrous, but why even give us the option of choice if their just going to make it canon?

You don't know any better, you said as much earlier.

So i forgive you for not knowing.

This is straight from Gaider: You cannot use Templar abilities without Lyrium

Mine's busy in the place that the Eluvian brought him to, wondering why the hell he didn't get to appear in The Fires Above trailer with his waifu Morrigan. I bet he isn't even raising the kid. I'm sure Bioware made him a worse dad than Ging Freecs. Hunter x Hunter fans will know how bad that is.

How do you mean, "deal?" I assume my Warden Commander let Anders resign from the Wardens, despite that being illegal.

I think it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that the Warden Commander heard from Nathaniel or another Grey Warden or Bethany or Carver, that Anders mental stability is going down the drain. Would he/she do nothing?

Thank you for the forgiveness ^_^

So Alistair lied to your Warden? What if he taught your Warden the Templar abilities? If I so desired I could choose to use Templar skills for my warrior Warden, correct? Are we assuming the also have to use Lyrium? Where is Alistair getting the money/ the Lyrium to support the addiction? Do those little bottles of instant magic count?

Haha.I don't know a worst dad than him? That's pretty harsh, maybe worst dad than Fallout 3 character's father. ;)

To be honest?

Gaider never said, one theory was that he simply lied and kept up the use, that's the one i buy into.

Another is that Gaider indicated Lyrium can remain within the body for a set time period before the abilities fade away.

So he could have simply be running off of what the Chantry gave him, but given that he hadn't even taken final Vows yet and wasn't even an official templar, the Chantry wouldn't have given  him any Lyrium, see where the confusion comes in?

So where exactly DID he get the lyrium for his abilities?

Anders seemed pretty stable until the Third Act when all of them haven't seen him for years.

Decomposing.

And being a paragon.

Go go ultimate sacrifice! I don't have to worry about Morrigan's crazy kid!

*ahem*

My Orlesian Warden, on the other hand, is probably trying to find two of her missing Wardens. And will eventually find out Hawke murder-knifed both of them at once in an attempt to keep Kirkwall from spontaneously combusting. Which failed.

I'm expecting that to just be a really fun chat for my inquisitor....

Grey Warden: So, you know Anders?

Hawke: Yeah.

Grey Warden: HILARIOUS guy, am I right?

Hawke: Uh...

im not sure they can offer a reasonable explanation as to why fereldens warden commander (the nation where the wardens should be higly focused on building back up) just decided to leave

the exception is of course if you went with morrigan, but in any other instance i imagine the explanation they will eventually have to give will be.....flimsy

I dunno, the obvious answer is. "There's this dude going to rip open a Rift to the Fade and End the World."

it depends how they handle it, they will clearly go that route with it but its more the "how" im concerned with than the "what"

I admit, it's hard to do, "No one believes me" when you should be the most trusted man in Thedas.
