So I'm not sure if it's too late for this but with the reveal of the new UI and there being only 8 abilities that can be mapped to the quickbar, may I suggest for tactics to no longer require abilities to be available in your quickbar, or is this a stupid suggestion?

Tactics have never required that.

 

I certainly hope they don't add that restriction, as well.

Tactics are more than just using abilities. They talked about having party members using and not using potions as well. 

 

It'll be fun to play around with it, hopefully it will be even better than the tactics from DA2.
