If im honest my DA: I info that I have comes directly from here...an article that is linked or a few youtube channels.

I also put little stock in articles...especially from sites I don't know of especially with all the click bating and things like that these days.  I just read something that caught me off guard though.  Now if you know me on here...hell if you've ever even read my sig you would know how I feel about warriors being able to dual wield...especially with the Qunari and 2 handed dual wielding as a racial/class bonus.  I understand the Arishok's weapons in DA were classified as "daggers" but those were no daggers.

So here is the quote....and Maria will be VERY happy about this too (if its true) shout out to her/him.

Bioware says warrior will not be dual wielding...at least last I heard. Alissa Mcaloon of twinfinite who claims to have played the game says "While I focused on being a tank-y damage sponge as a Legionnaire, the Reaver was handling DPS with her dual-wielded swords.

As far as we know, Reaver is greatsword only.

I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of custom classes added in by Bioware that don't necessary fit with how we can spec the Inquisitor in SP. Since MP classes will only have those 4 skill spots, it should be easier to build small self-contained skill sets that break the usual mold. In ME3MP we started getting infiltrators with biotics and other less pigeonholeable classes, so I think it's likely we'll get a dual-wielding warrior or a stealth&magic user or other things like that in DLC.

I think that's it. The author probably doesn't know what "dual wield" means and assumes it meant "one big weapon in both hands".

the site might be a joke, but the author still hasn't corrected it and for someone to be a writer of video game articles for their job/profession idk...........if its a mistake thats garbage.

Yeah, I think they screwed up on that. You are probably better off checking out game informer and that.

This is an interesting tidbit from that same article which makes "spectator mode" sound a little more fun and interesting...

"When a character runs out of health they are merely incapacitated and are able to be revived by their teammates within a set amount of time. If your teammates instead choose to run straight past you and let you bleed out, your character dies and enters ‘The Fade’, which is the spiritual realm explored in many past Dragon Age games. While in The Fade, players can float like ghosts around the level which, as pointed out to us by the developer walking us through the demo, has its own strategic advantages. Dead players can’t be revived until the end of a wave, but they are able to scout around the level and communicate enemy locations to the still living players."
