Patience is at an end. The Player Character shouldn't have to always play diplomat, Bioware! In the future, the pc should be given a choice to choose becoming or being a tyrant. Simply, conquer or seize control over a variety of governments and races.

Example: Instead of aiding the dalish elves, kill the keeper or leader to enslave the tribe for the inquisition and ruling over their fate.

In DAI, I would like the Inquisitor to be given the choice between tyranny or diplomacy. If chosen tyranny, the inquisitor can decide the roles of those conquer or enslave for the inquisition. So if my inquisitor is fed up with a "group", may either kill or tame them.

The way I see it, morals and principles are irrelevant. As long as it aids the inquisitors cause.

That might be doable if you're looking to imitate the Spanish Inquisition.

Though being able to embark on an Exalted March against a particular group could be fun.

Example: Instead of aiding the dalish elves, kill the keeper or leader to enslave the tribe for the inquisition and ruling over their fate.

If you do this you'd only rule over a clan with cursed Dalish hunters that can't help you in fighting Darkspawn. Bravo.

Now go and solve the werewolf problem anyways becaues otherwise you don't gain sh*t from the Dalish.

Edit: Sorry I failed at reading comprehension. I thought you were refering to the Dalish caln in Origins. My bad. I'll go and hide in shame.

I just hope that instead of becoming the "Belle of the Ball", we can pull an Arishok on these damned orlesian Nobles.

You can do exactly as you wish...after you are done kissing countless of noble's feet, running errands for lowly peasants, rescue a cat from the tree, give massage to forty leper. You can be a cruel tyrant, conquer a land and enslave the entire race for...fifteen minute before the game is over.

This is not Super Villain Simulator 2014. You can be pragmatic, stern and make decisions that won't sit well with everyone, but at the end of the day you are still the hero of the story and your goal is to save the world, not conquer it.

I doubt it.

In so far as killing all of them if they don't convert to a cult that the pc has no affiliation with anyway.

I doubt that human soldiers will care one way or the other what you choose to do with random groups of elves, but any attempt to conquer one of the sovereign human nations will likely backfire.  Not only would you have to deal with mutiny on the part of the soldiers, you'd need to pacify the nobles and peasants of these lands... it just doesn't seem reasonable since the Inquisition is basically a mercenary group.  I don't expect that we'd have the numbers to threaten nations that have existed for centuries, even if we could somehow gain the kind of absolute loyalty that would be needed to convince a soldier to help overthrow his own government... since the original reason that these soldiers joined was to help you fight demons, I don't see this happening.

Guys, it was just an example. No intention to focus on one sec or race. Do not forget we have apostates, avvar, demons, cults, tal-vashoth, carta, etc. Groups, tribes, clans, mercenary companies, etc. I am suggesting contact with any of these groups that the inquisitor over powers may have potential opportunity to serve the inquisitor. Choosing tyranny is just one route.

The inquisitor can earn aid from groups for defeating corruption within them. Remember the trailer with the avvar barbarians, at the end when the female inquisitor recruits non-corrupt avvar. I simply request the choice or option.

Ex: Come across Tal-vashoth mercenaries corrupt by demons. By saving them or killing the corruption within group, may either swear loyalty to cause or force to serve inquisition. Either way, it would be the PC choice to decide, accept or reject, aid.

I apologize for any confusion. Just would like to see more character and variety in decisions than just the simple "I scratch your back, you scratch mine", like in DAO.

I am still holding out Hope that I will be able to express my Support of the Qun or convert fully.

But, I am meaning it more in the Sense of giving them a "The Reason you Suck"-Speech and then proceeding to scare the **** out of them or rid the World of these vile orlesian Politicians. Because their "grand Game"... goddamnit, since I've read the masked Empire, I wanted to collectively punch a Group of fictional People in the Face.

If the Qunari conquer thedas i don't see how they could do much else with the universe.

It's about like synthesis or control in mass effect.

Of course, they're the worst kind.. You don't think we'd mistreat our auxiliaries the City elves do you? GG man what kind of monsters do you take us for!
No no we'll just Crush the Dalish until they submit and if they don't we grind them into a fine paste to provide mortar for our Castles. Someone previously suggested using their bones for the walls but the Elves are weak and brittle so I personally don't think it should be an option. The paste thing though, now that's a sound idea.
