Reading up on the backstory of the Keeper MP character, it says she's a Dalish emissary to the inquisition. That got me thinking if we'd encounter her in the single player, kind of like how we recruit that Avvar dude into it after a quest. That may not unlock the character for play in MP (I imagine Bioware would want you to buy microtransactions for that), but with them being so well developed I'd like to see my inquisitor interact with these characters, at least.
With the multiplayer characters having distinct names, personalities and appearances, think we could meet them in the single player?

Yes. But they also mentioned that SP and MP are two separate things, so I don't think you'll have to recruit her in SP for her to be available as a class in MP.

I hope so, that would be awesome. Also, the elementalist mage is from the Ostwick Circle, which is the same Circle where the Human mage is from, they have to have at least seen each other.

I think it's been mentioned that you may see the multiplayer characters wandering around captured Keeps during the singleplayer campaign
That's interesting. I wonder if they have some non-interactive idle chatter when you walk past them.

That's cool actually. As long as we don't need to play multiplayer to get the story, I'm keen for little links like this. This could actually end up being an example of multiplayer done perfectly.

I wouldn't be surprised if the MP characters branch from all the DA mediums. Like a character may have some connection from DAO, DA2, the comics, the novels, and even the movie. (Would be pretty sick to see a npc character from the table top game)

Good thought.
Similarly, the Keeper and Lavellan Inquisitor would have to see each other at Arlathven. I mean, Lavellan is either a highly skilled hunter (Similar to Arianne from Witch Hunt, I dare say), or a First. The Keeper from MP is... well, a Keeper. An Elf Mage would be almost a 100% chance of previously meeting the Keeper.

Actually, the Keeper from MP is First to Clan Ralaferin's Keeper, Elindra. It's a bit of a misnomer.

This is how I feel about it. I would love the idea of having some of our MP characters showing up in minor roles in the SP game, such as background chatter and such. I just don't want the SP to rely too much on playing the MP. I'm not the biggest MP fan, so I'd prefer to keep the chocolate out of my peanut butter. I'm kind of excited about MP this time around, but I hesitate to see the link be any tighter than minor cameos from our MP characters.

Well, 'tis true that Keeper sounds better than First in this case... At the same time, it may prove confusing...

Hope so, it would be nice to be able to talk to them as I read their back stories and thought they were quite interesting.

The chances of them having some chatter go up since they have their own identity and banter in MP. I'm really excited about it!

I suspect this will be done quite well.
They may be in certain places to talk to, just as other NPCs may be.
If you know who they are, terrific.
If you don't play multiplayer and don't know, then you're not missing anything, they're just part of the mix of background NPCs .
IF the DAMP is really successful, as I expect it will be,
I could even see some more interactivity coming in DLC but I would expect BioWare to play that extremely carefully.

I actually think that would be cool to have MP characters wandering around the keep, and maybe idle chatter from the advisors commenting on progress of the missions.
I mean it's a small bonus for people who play the MP side of things, but SP only players aren't losing out at all.

I would be very surprised if we didn't see them hanging around the fortress as just NPC 'filler' characters. I doubt they will have many, if any, dialog assigned to them though, as that starts to get into 'additional content'.

They will have dialogue, it will be something like this.
Archer to elementalist : I had a dork playing me last night that kept running me up into the front ranks!
Elementalis to Archer: Yeah i know, I saved a legionaires bacon with a fire ball this am and got accused of kill stealing!

I think agents that you'll recruit that are not nameless etc (like that Avaar character from the demo), will appear in the singleplayer.

In the Citadel DLC, you had "characters" from the MP all over town chatting in small groups about MP tactics. You couldn't interact with them, but it was quite fun to pass by them and listen in on their conversations. Actually learned quite a bit tactical advice from their banter, too. ![]()
I imagine it will be like that, you might walk by the MP characters somewhere in Skyhold, chatting among themselves or with other NPCs. And again you probably won't be able to interact with them, but it's a fun, loose wink and nod to those who did try the MP.
