The art team seem to be sticking with the DA2 visual 'signature' both in the visuals and the more simple, polygonal menus and buttons. I think this is the right choice, since DAO with the book menus and ornamental UI felt awfully generic RPG at times. In fact DAI is actually an improvement over DA2 in this area, since I thought 2 could get a bit minimalist at times and the UI sometimes felt a bit flat. DAI seems to really be improving on this with the lovingly detailed tarot cards. Overall, the game looks like it's going to have a unique but effective visual 'signature'.
