I can't decide if i want to go human mage through all 3 gamed as a way to prove that mages can be useful and not just harmful, or mix it up? If I decide to mix it up I'm not sure what origion to pick out of dwarf noble or human noble?

The only Warden Origin likely not to see time in DAI from me is the City Elf; not because I did not enjoy it, but because she completed her story. That leaves the others open, though there will be racial and gender variations.

The only Origin that is a lock for certain is my Human Noble, as he made tough choices that were not used much in other sessions (eg; left Sten and Zevran to die, did not accept the alchemical potion from Warden's Keep, etc). The others have to be looked at a bit more closely to decide who will gain the canonical roles for that class, and which will get treated to re-makes from the keep more often.

I'm stuck because of the boon the dwarf warden can ask for. In my mind that is probably the most important one because it has such a big impact on their world, so I just hope that they will implement that in some way. And speaking of the Keep, if I don't have a mage warden because my game got corrupted and I had to reinstall everything will I be able to just recreate him completly? Looks and all, or will I have to pick another warden?

I believe that a human noble who marries the monarch might have some influence on the future of Ferelden. Even if they don't get married, you could at least settle for a teyrnir as a boon.

You might find more answers in this or other recent vids. Watch the first 15 minutes for the demo, and the rest for Q&A:

You will be able to completely recreate your Warden's history. Appearances are not imported from your BSN profile, so it doesn't matter if you have this character synched or if you're recreating him from scratch. There is no character creation in the Keep to customize appearances either, so don't get too held up about his looks, because none of your Wardens will directly transfer their looks into DA:I.

The only hint we have of maybe possibly a character creator inside the game itself (not the Keep) that lets you customize your Wardens and Hawkes is a tweet by Mike Laidlaw saying that if our heroes were to come back, they would give us some (unspecified) way to change their looks. If you want to use your mage Warden, just recreate his story at the Keep, and worry about his mug later.

I preferred the human mage in DA:O and a warrior Hawke in DA2... they have a familial connection in that they are cousins, but hold radically different political views, ethics, and moralities.  As the third protagonist, the Inquisitor will merely be a character living in a world shaped by these two legends... for good or ill.

In short, there is no "best" way to do it, IMO... so long as the story you come up with appeals to you, then it was the right choice.  Keep in mind that you can create and save up to 5 world states in the Keep, so you can use a different one for the second DA:I playthrough if you want...

I always preferred my cannon story of a FemMage in Origins and a Fem/Male Mage Hawke in DA2. I liked having that blood relationship between the two, and showing a family that is full of mages not being corrupt. (Even if both of them are blood mages)

The Hero and the Champion. There must be greatness in the Amell blood

As to my Inquisitor, I will be doing a human FemMage.

I don't see that the particular Origin makes any real difference. I mean, you might get a few nods to the Human Mage from Cullen or some comparisons to the Dalish Warden if you're an elf (I think the elven Inquisitor is Dalish?) but it really only matters insofar as you like the specific character you created.

I was thinking maybe going dwarf noble warrior, hawke rogue, and dalish mage inquistor just for the sake of having a diverse list of protaganists. I doubt it will have much effect on the game but its more for my enjoyment/interpatation than actually gameplay effects. Maybe do all human mages through the series? Just depends on how I feel at launch
