Timelines don't match at all, don't particularly see much to get out of the mix (though Garrus sniping grunts and making aside comments could be fun), so.... short of a Smash Bros style mix-em-up, I don't see this happening, nor much of a reason for it to do so.
I'm sure fanfiction.net has you covered though.

I like both, but the two universes are too different.
However you can always 'head-canon' that after the First Contact War humans initiated a Spartan program and Shepard is one of them. Or even the last spartan.
But a game mix? No.

I actually think a Dead Space/Mass Effect crossover would work out nicely. Halo not so much.
Shepard really could have used a retractable helmet. ME's helmets kind of sucked by comparison.

The UNSC Infinity would demolish every single dreadnought ship and reaper that would ever exist in the Mass Effect universe so unfortunately this would make the Alliance and every alien fleet look s**t in comparison to it. So yeah this could never happen.

I would prefer a Star Wars, and Mass Effect crossover. The Rebel Alliance and Systems Alliance vs. Reapers, Stormtroopers, vs Cerberus. It would be interesting to see A-wing Starfighter's and Trident fighters fly to Earth together to take on the Reapers. Or the Systems Alliance and Rebel Alliance could fly to Endor and take on the Imperials. I am certain the Rebel Alliance would like 1,000 war assets.

Home One could in all likelihood solo the entire Reaper fleet.
