Um, that is a tweet from Mark Darrah's account, and I see no other way that his response can be interpreted. Why would we not take the tweet as confirmation?

 

We already pretty much know that Solas is a LI based on a tweet from his voice actor, Gareth David-Lloyd, and the "elf only" could only mean that he's race-gated to his own kind which doesn't catch me off-guard at all considering Solas' background.

I didn't think they would limit a romance to a single race, but now that we know, Vivienne is almost certain to be a human-only LI.  Makes more than enough sense for her.

Solas is probably straight because there is no male companion with that sexuality. The most strange thing is that I am getting the feeling that Blackwall is probably a romance too, I mean Vivienne makes more sense since it is the equivalent to Ironbull female bi but somehow, I am seeing Blackwall too.
