Solas is probably straight because there is no male companion with that sexuality. The most strange thing is that I am getting the feeling that Blackwall is probably a romance too, I mean Vivienne makes more sense since it is the equivalent to Ironbull female bi but somehow, I am seeing Blackwall too.
The advisors apparently have an equal word budget to the companions even if they aren't companions.

We have been warned more than once not to assume that the last two romances to be revealed would necessarily be the race-gated ones. The other race-gated one could very well be any of the other six.

It really wouldn't matter since Advisers have just as much content as the companions when it comes to romance only difference is the advisers don't go on quests with you

Ok sa we have so far:
Straight - Cassandra and Cullen
Bisexual - Iron Bull and Josephine
Gay - Dorian and Sera.
Two more straight romances (male and female - Solas and Vivienne?) are probable IMHO. Both race gated.

It cannot be Josephine or Iron Bull, meaning one of only four, not six. And yes it's within the realm of possibility but what I stated is what I'm expecting is all. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It just makes the most sense to me.

Just my two bits, but could see her doing a sort of old romance with an elf to kinda trying to keep it behind the doors.

Even if that is true that would make one companion male pan and other bi, which I doubt they will do. Since there is no companion straight unless it is Cassandra, it makes more sense to have at least one companion male straight.
The problem here is that with Cullen straight and Josephine bi, the whole npcs vs companion romance is even more unbalance. NPCs are cool and all but companions are going to be far superior almost every turn because they are in your party and there is a lot more content there.
And Gaider did said that there was a possibility that one of the romances would have only one option available, depending of your character race and sexuality, most people think it was Varric, to me it is Solas. Of course it is all speculation I would like for them to be all bi and not race gated but people seem to hate that, so I guess now you have characters with more diversity.
I think in the end is for the better. At this point I am happy with the cast, the only thing I still do not like is the lack of female presence on the companion, hope to see a change in the future.

From what I can tell, the writers don't seem to consider the advisers lesser when it comes to romance content and story.
I would assume that Vivienne is the final romance, and is also race gated. I can't imagine they'd make both elves gated by race (especially considering Sera is homosexual) and I can't see Cassandra being gated by anything other than gender. But we shall see.
I agree, Solas being race gated pretty much confirms to me that Sera is safe from race gating

They cannot have the same content because they do not do quests with you or at least not all the quest, since Leliana and Cullen do some.
There for, no helping you and no banter with four people about some red templars pooping on the mountains. There are restrictions on the dialogues, whatever people like it or not NPCs are more bond to the HQ which is fine. Of course the romance with the PC could be on the same lvl but than again you can never have the same thing as Isabela and Merril talking about Hawke in your party.

Gaider's tweet seems to say that both of the unrevealed LI's were not gated. Since Solas is gated, then it would stand to reason that the other unrevealed LI (Vivienne or Blackwall) is not. Yes, I know others read that tweet differently, but I just for the life of me cannot understand how it's interpreted otherwise.
Also, I'm not convinced that it's going to be one gated male and one gated female. If there is a 5-3 unbalance in the LI's (with 5 males and 3 females), then I could easily see 3 ungated females, 3 ungated males, and 2 gated males. Perhaps Solas is bisexual and either Cullen or Dorian is gated against elves.......?
