Just curious if this has been publicly mentioned yet.  These seem to be proliferating a bit, with display vendors like LG and others announcing new 21:9 ratio displays with each passing month.  So I'm curious if Inquisition will support resolutions like 3440x1400?

TIA!

You'll need a card that supports that kind of resolution first

I'm running a Core i7 4770 with a GeForce GTX 770 attached to a Dell 3007 30" display, plus 16GB of memory, so my system is fine.  Main concern is developers supporting 21:9 ultra wide resolutions.

Any word yet on support for ultra-wide resolutions on the PC?

Uhh your system is not fine, you need like 2 or 3 of your gpus in sli for that unless you plan to play at 30 fps with everything on low.

My gtx 780 can't even handle that unless its an older game.

And devs are supporting 4k so I am assuming yes? You should ask them on twitter.

3440x1440 is under 5m pixels, and my 30" is like 4.1m, and I plan on upgrading to a 970 here in a month or so, so I'll be just fine with Frostbite at that resolution (if I do buy the LG panel).  I'm playing Shadow of Mordor just fine with my system, everything maxed out except those 6GB textures.

Yeah I was curious about this too.

I play on a 21:9 2560 x 1080 monitor; and so far almost all games support it.

However the HUD does not always 'corner'; basically it remains in the 16:9 position. Hopefully since Battlefield 4 supports 21:9; DAI will too as well! :D

Most modern cards do.

21:9 is not that much more than 16:9; and I can routinely run games at 3550 x 1620 @ 60 FPS with my 780ti ;)
