Not really, if Blackwall is gay for example, this would make 3 hetero, 3 gay/lesbian and 2 Bi/Pan. If anything the bisexuals and pansexuals are getting less.
Not really, depending on which sex they are, bisexuals get some of the straight and gay LIs as well.
And this is why I don't like equality being reduced to a numbers game.

Yeah it worries me that everyone's idea of equality is giving straight people less choices.
If the demographics of their audience mean they move away from pure equality i can understand that decision even if i'd prefer a pure equality approach.
However the lets make a statement reasoning i find very uncompelling.

But there is already inequality from the hetero romances. If anything, they are sure getting more than others, so I do not get his statements at all.

Receiving one less option isn't punishment for whatever. Being able to romance 3 instead of 4 characters doesn't mean Bioware came to your door and kicked your dog. The characters they made simply preferred other people.

Not really, I'm just saying I'll always be biased because I want more options. At the end of the day equality is what we all want but it isn't equal if someone else gets more. One more option isn't too bad though I'll concede that.

Pierce would be correct if we were saying that we want them to intentionally give straight people less options because they got more options in the past.
We are not. We are saying that we want equal options but they chose not to do that. So, given this circumstances, we just don't want to get the least amount of options AGAIN.
Those are different concepts yet some people continue to either miss that point or choose to ignore it.

How about we not prioritize anyone ? Whats done is done for this game and it can't be fixed. But we need to strive for equality in the next Bioware game, not more options than straight people.

It seems to be the general feeling and motivation behind certain posts though.
I personally couldn't care less if every LI was gay or bisexual, that's not why I spoke up, it's the reasoning behind it that I take issue with. People who claim to be fighting for equality that seemingly wouldn't give a damn if the shoe were on the other foot.
Another reason I disagree with this stance is I don't understand why straight players are the ones to be "punished," surely the developers of the game/s are to blame for the past inequality?
2 for me actually.
Currently everyone except straight female Elves has 2 options. The next one might add a few slots but some groups will be left alone. Straight guys won't be the only one with just 2 options. That's not an injustice towards you. It's how Bioware cut the pie.
